Pretty vintage Halloween postcard showing a young couple, he dressed as a Pilgrim and she dressed as a Victorian lady, walking along a scary path through the woods. Very rare painted metal figure of a black girl mounted on an alabaster base. The girl wears a yellow pinafore with blue trim, a blue hair bow, red socks, black Mary Janes, and carries a basket of flowers. The alabaster base has a slot to hold a place card. American, circa 1900. 2" tall. The alabaster has some nicks at the edges, but the figure is in very good condition.

Having conceived of the revolutionary idea of a lithographed, molded-mask doll face in 1901, New Yorker, Albert Bruckner applied for and was awarded the patent for his idea that same year. All Bruckner dolls were then stamped, "PAT'D JULY 8th 1901" on the lower right neck edge.

From 1901-1924, Bruckner produced this original, 12" Topsy Turvy doll for Horsman's Babyland Rag Doll line that features Caucasian, "Betty", on one end and African American, "Topsy", on the other...

Very funny Halloween postcard featuring a cow scaring his milkmaid by wearing jack o'lanterns on his horns. The front is marked "Copyright 1909 by Julius Bien & Co., N.Y." Heavily embossed and very nice colors. Postmarked 1910.

Nice good condition, with light rounding at corners, a slight crease in the bottom quarter of the card, and a tiny tear (about 1/16") in one margin.
