A 7-5/8" berry spoon and a 4" pair of sugar tongs in the sterling silver Louis pattern, issued by Ellis (later Birks). The berry spoon weighs 66.3 grams, it has a fancy monogram, and it has some minor denting on the end of the bowl. The tongs have a fancy G monogram, it weighs 15.8 grams, and it has a hole through each claw for some unknown purpose. These Royal Copenhagen playing puppies is made up of one gray-eared puppy on its back trying to coax its friend (white ear) to join the the fun, the other is half-sitting and showing some of his left ear, and the game involves this strange floppy appendage, apparently. Once again the fusion of the subjects where the legs, ears and tails are in contact , adds to the sense of affinity between the dogs.
