A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. The inside is of a subtle lavender, while the outside is creme colored with slightly raise geometric designs. This clearly dates it to the early 20's. Japanese bronze okimono sculpture of a Hawk on rockery base. the Hawk stands on a a fantastic bronze rockery base with branches and waves. Signed with character marks on the side of the rockery. Measures 16 1/2" x 19 1/2" x 8". condition was cold painted at a later date though 99% of the paint has been removed.The left foot left toe is missing though a rough toe was created but we removed it during the cleaning it will come with the sculpture.

An elegant cranberry-cut-to-clear perfume bottle, likely by Cristallerie de Saint Louis or Cristalleries de Nancy. The bottle is worked in a classic pattern of pillars finished with step cutting at the shoulders and panels cuts on the neck. The base is also cut-to-clear in a star pattern. The hollow-blown stopper is cut in a matching pattern.

Beautiful Daum Nancy 4 5/8 inch tall cameo cabinet vase decorated with red lilies and green leaves on a pale amber ground which in turn incorporates an amethyst spatter pattern near the base. The vase is 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the rim and 2 ½ inches at the shoulder. The vase is signed with the Daum logo and “France” in cameo. A differently shaped vase having the same decoration and coloration is shown as item E in figure 127 on page 86 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.”

A small amethyst over camphor glass cameo vase. The decoration is a floral pattern on a camphor ground. The vase is signed “ C Vessiere” in cameo and is 3 1/4 inches tall.

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the 6 1/2 inch fan vase in in jade. The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. Excellent condition, the color is really lovely! This glass vase was produced in France in the 1920s. We attribute it to Daum Lorrain for its color and style. It is not signed. The vase is 12 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 5 3/4 inches. It is blown into a mold producing its art deco form. The base is thick and quite heavy. The vase draws gracefully upward from this point with the glass thinning significantly. The colors within the glass are iron red and mauve. They form a pattern with a marble like texture...

Rene Lalique's artistic virtuosity is eminently exhibited in his Formose vase which depicts scaled koi fish swimming in (or creating) swirling water. The glass is tinted grey - a hard to find color for this famous vase. the rim of the base is inscribed R Lalique 934 with some illegible writings...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks. Offered is this pair of Le Verre Francais (Schneider), French cameo glass vases, made around 1920. The vases are 7 1/4 inches (18,5 cm) and 7 inches (18 cm) tall respectively - as in most hand-made items, there is a slight variation in sizes. Both are signed with etched signatures. Except for a chip in the foot of one vase (see last picture), both vases are in good condition.

Galle bud vase in amethyst over yellow base glass with a very unusual floral design. The leaves below the stems of the flowers are engraved with fine lines to indicate veining in the leaves. The Galle signature on the vase is engraved such as in signature 58 on page 143 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.” The vase is undamaged and measures 8 5/8 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter.

Signed French Lalique Glass vase, signed "Lalique, France", 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide-widest middle part, 4 1/4" diameter for top rim, very heavy weight and frosted 14 birds inside the deep cut out circles wrapped around with continuing vines, all birds are in different position, with clear glass top and bottom rim. This Lalique vase is in good condition and some small scratches on the bottom from the age, no chips or damage.

Lovely Bohemian pale pink cordial set with pastel enameled flowers. The set includes 4 glasses, glass tray, and a decanter with a parrot. We haven't noticed any conditions issues except for age related wear to gold gilt. Decanter measures 10.5 inches high, glasses 2.25" high, tray 7.5" diameter. A very unusual and sweet set.

A beautiful Art Deco green overlay cut crystal perfume bottle in Design "7623" by Cristalleries de Nancy. The bottle is cut in alternating pillars accented with stars and printies. The hollow-blown stopper is cut to match, with a large start at the apex. The base is stamped with the acid signature "Cristal Nancy France." Antique early 20th-century Indian padlock entirely made of brass and adorned with the Hindu god Hanuman on the front plate.

Interesting early Deco gilt metal pendant of Chinese shape. The front with an enameled motif of a lady with Chinese hairstyle busy with needlework in front of a smoking scenser, all within a keyfret border. The back with a cracked ice border surrounding a willow tree and ducks in a pond. Probably French, around 1920. Width "1 ½ / 3.7 cm. Condition: fine, except for a darker spot to the back, visible from a certain angle (cf. last photo).
