Chinese Famille Rose fine hand painted with overglaze enamel low relief Porcelain Pear shape Vase, 5" high, 3 7/8" wide-widest part, raised low relief design of butterflies, sprays of floral with geometric decoration on white porcelain body. Marked Qianlong red mark on the bottom but this vase is a copy of 1980's and will make very nice decorative flower vase. The condition is good, no damages.

Fenton introduced their Coin Dot pattern in 1947 and continued production through 1964. It remains one of their most sought after patterns. Offered here is the #1470 candlestick in blue opalescent. 5 1/2 inches tall. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Duncan & Miller Covered Marmelade or mustard. Produced from the 1930's-55. We have two of these, one does have a chip in the spoon opening -- very small and practically negligible -- but I have to mention it.

Inspired the works of Iizuka Rokansai, this open weave basket with richly toned dark red-brown split bamboo has a slightly tapering cylindrical body with an offset loop handle at the top. Signed with an incised signature on the bottom. Comes with a bamboo water container. Dates late 20th century. Measures 8” high including handle, 4.74” diameter. This basket had a very nice sheen to it that is not being captured by the photos. You will be pleased.

Old Japanese Celadon Studio Porcelain Kannon Marked Suwa Sozan 蘇山

She is 14.5 inches (36.8 cm) tall by 4.3 inches (11.2 cm) wide. She is 2.8 Lb.

She has surface wears and scratches and a hairline crack at the back (as seen in the photos).

A Beautiful late 19th to early 20th C. Chinese export silver vanity set with flower and bird, in excellent condition. Marked. $1650

Pair of large Chinese Republic period baluster form vases decorated with mirror image famille rose enamelled bird and flower motifs. Black inscription to the back includes Tianjin and the date in cycle years of 1932. There is a prominent luting line in the neck and a barely visible luting line at the mid-section. 17 1/8” and 17 1/4" high. Very good overall condition. They were previously drilled for lamps and the holes in the bottom have been professionally restored...

This complete display consists of 24, small 'sample' medicine boxes, each of which contain colorful little red pills!

Each small box's label includes ingredients described as 'laxative and cathartic’.

Attractive Japanese blue imari charger, 11 1/4 inches in diameter, good condition.

Carved handle is 2 7/8 inches high and 1 3/8 inches wide. A nice evening cane with a small chip on the back side, white metal collar, ebony shaft and a metal ferrule. Overall length of the cane is 32 1/4 inches. Condition Report: Good condition

A nice and interesting polished Nephrite amulet in the shape of a Cicada, Ming style.

The pendant carved in a rarely seen brown-black stone. This fine nephrite pendant comes from an old German Collection of handpicked Chinese jade carvings of insects from different periods, from the Neolithic to 20th. century. The cicada was carved in a Ming Dynasty Style, but possible from Qing Dynasty, we're not certain.

Wonderfully detailed shell open container, carved and pierced all around with twisting vines and branches bearing fruit, with carved rodent-like creatures that move loosely within the vegetation. A fun mid-century chrome and bakelite stoplight handled jigger. The side is marked off in three increments--"Safe", "Caution" and "Danger"--each with a jeweled light. The bottom is marked "Reg'd Design/Glo-Hill Canada". Montreal-based Glo-Hill made a creative range of barware and serving pieces for modern entertaining.
