Wayang topeng mask, finely carved in wood to represent a typical character of that theater, with strong features, painted in polychrome colours to underline some areas. Animal hair was affixed to the mask to represent the hair and the moustache of the character. A wood bar was affixed to the inside of the mask, probably to allow the bearer to hold the mask with his teeth as is done sometimes. An inscription made by its former owner indicates the origin of the mask...

This brightly colored child's hat is Dong ethnic minority. The front is decorated with 9 silver Buddha ornaments and lots of intricate embroidery. Tassels and pompoms decorate the sides and silver bells with fish ornaments across the back protect the child from the approach of evil spirits.

This lovely Heisey Orchid wine stem is in excellent, undamaged condition. The bowl is surrounded by an acid etch motif of upside-down orchids and big sprays of ribbons and bows. The Tyrolean stem is quite bright and elegant all attached to a clear broad foot. It stands 6 1/8" tall, and I have one more in my inventory. Chinese desk with matching chair made of rosewood. The desk has five drawers with brass rectangular pulls. The chair is adorned with small flowers in the upper corners of the back. The desk measures 22" deep 46" wide 31" tall. 20th century.

A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

This is a really nice crystal clear vintage glass Sailboat, aka Ship, ash tray with a metal sail, made by Hazel Atlas Glass into the 1940s. This glass sailboat measures 5 7/8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches across. The ash tray measures 6 1/2 inches high to the top of the metal sail. The glass sailboat is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The original metal sail does have some discoloration on it - please see pictures for detail...
