George V covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Crichton in London in 1930. Girdled urn on stepped, raised, and gadrooned foot; s-scroll side handles with leaf cap and pendant flower heads. Cover domed with gadrooned rim and finial. Cutout strapwork applied to bowl and cover. Traditional Classical form in Britannia (that is, 958) silver. Fully marked. Very good condition.

A happily little soul evidently getting much pleasure from the clashing together two metal pot lids. She kneels with her feel tucked under, and her "cymbals" are held on high for maximum effect. Her cheeks are dimpled, her eyes are blue, and she wears a close-fitting brown bonnet, held in place under her chin by a huge pink-brown bow; her curled light brown hair can be seen at her forehead and cheeks...
Made in the 1970-80's, these Pilgrim candle lights are probably their largest (8" tall). Metal candle inserts are included. Please note that one has a vertical optic and the other has a slightly twisted optic. Please specify which one you want if only ordering one, both in mint condition.

Japanese Woodblock Print in matted border in black lacquered frame, Ca. 1960's, 18 1/2 high, 14" wide for frame,14" x 9" for Image size, printed 1960's, one of the East coast series, as is, small tear on the lower left.
This Pashtun textile measures 35 x 35 cm and is embroidered in silk thread on a purple polyester ground. Two mirrors are sewn on as accents in each of the two 14-pointed stars. The embroidery technique is a tightly worked ladder stitch, typical of the embroidery of Katawaz. Condition: Excellent. Estimated age: mid 20th century.
