This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...

He is easily identifiable by his elephant's head and four arms, two of which are shown holding his own broken tusks, and one of which is grasping his nose. A genuine and vintage 4-3/4" diameter matte glaze small bowl or plant pot by Rookwood. This bowl has the pattern number 2158 and the year cipher for 1920 and it depicts leaping rabbits around the border. Beautiful ocean-themed glass vase depicting swordfish swimming amongst bubbles. The vase is just under 9 inches (22 cm) in height. Good condition (one foot blemish). Unsigned - similar Waterford vase is shown on page 158 of Judith Miller's book, '20th Century Glass' (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

A lovely English cut crystal powder or dresser box. The cut glass jar features 3 large flowers with alternating leaves. A deep cut star is on the base bottom. The sterling silver lid is beautifully decorated with a chased Art Nouveau design around the outer edge. The center of the lid is plain and can be engraved. Lid is marked silver and tests sterling silver. The box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures about 3" high x 3.75 at widest. Circa 1920.

Japanese woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997) entitled Jizo-in Kinugasayama and dated 1968. A beautiful scene of the gate to Jizo-in Temple in Kyoto as seen through the stand of tall bamboo that grows on either side. No. 14 of 100. Size in frame: 25 1/4" high x 19 1/4" wide. Size of print: 20 1/2" high x 15" wide.

A beautiful, Murano glass 'Mezza Filigrana' vase, made by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The very heavy glass vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (a few bubbles in glass, and age-appropriate base wear, as expected). Unsigned, as expected (a similar vase was sold by Midwest Auction Company on December 1, 2012).

A beautiful, 3-piece, Murano glass perfume set, made most likely by Archimede Seguso, around 1940. It is in their 'Bullicante'/bubbles decor, with pink inner and clear outer casings. The heights of the three pieces are, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm), 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) respectively. Overall, in good condition - there is a nick on the inner-rim of the powder jar, and, some glue on atomizer to shut outlet. Faded acid-etched signature, 'Made in Italy'.

A beautiful, signed, Murano glass horse-head figurine, made by Archimede Seguso. Gold flecks in glass. The figurine is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and 5 inches (12,5 cm) wide. It is in very good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Etched signature on the bottom (see picture)

Pair of Mexican figures in clear and black glass. The clear glass figures have wide black sombrero's, long black mustaches and black arms with folded hands (similar in style to the Oriental figures by Seguso). The taller figure also shows off the toes of his black boots. The taller figure measures 11 inches (27.9 cm). The shorter figure, who appears to be kneeling, is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall. Each figure bears a red and gold foil label with the words 'Murano Glass Made in Italy'...

Chinese wood grain Shuffle or bucket, 24" high, 9 1/2" wide, 7" deep, with iron mounted around the corners and curved handle in front,and round handle on the bottom area to grip firmly. Worn area and shows a lot of usage.

Glazed porcelain statue of the Smiling Buddha or Budai in colorful light blue and yellow robes with flower patterns. Five small children are climbing on his hefty form, which is a common depiction for Budai. He also holds a strand of prayer beads in his left hand. 20th century Size: 7.75" tall, 5.5" wide

Beautiful famille rose porcelain vase depicting several of the Eight Immortals from Chinese mythology. The man on the far left wearing an orange robe resembles Lu Dongbin, the Tang Dynasty scholar who later became elevated to the status of an Immortal. The eldest man in the center bears some likeness to the Immortal Zhongli Quan and wears a beautiful multi-toned robe of browns, greens, and blues, and wears a mass of flowers and leaves like a crown, which a blue-robed man, wearing a brown striped...

A beautiful, large art glass bowl, made by Kosta Boda in their 'Unica' series - it was done by Lindstrand. The bowl's coloration fades from purple-to-clear. It is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) long and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in fine condition (some usage scratches on bottom). Polished pontil. It is signed with acid-etching, 'Lindstrand Kosta' and is numbered, 'L.H.1001'.
