LIBERTY BLUE by STAFFORDSHIRE was made circa 1975 - 1981.

The teapot has the usual crazing and one chip on the underside of the lid. Pictures 3 & 4 try to show the underside lip and the view from the top to give you a better view of the actual damage.

This 1987 Annual Easter Figurine, Fourth Edition, features a yellow chick with orange beak and feet. His eyes are brown. This figurine is approx. 3 1/2" in height. Printed on the bottom of the figurine is: 1987 Goebel W. Germany. Number imprinted on the bottom of this figurine is 153.

Italian tile in the style of Aldo Londi for Bitossi. Relief-moulded and stamped decoration of a horse, the glaze partly bubbly and iridescent. Unmarked, but with "1972" in writing. Length "6 ¼/ 15,5 cm, width "4 ½/ 12,5 cm. Condition: minimal chips to lower rim as seen on photo.

Two small vessels by well known American studio potter Tom Turner (currently living and working in North Carolina.) These two pieces are tenmoku glazed and are hand thrown in porcelain (Tom Turner is acknowledged as an American master in this medium). Both are signed by the artist. In excellent condition.

Art Déco vase by Camille Tharaud, 1925-30. Camille Tharaud (1878-1956) came from a family of porcelain makers in Limoges. He collaborated with designers like Marcel Goupy and Henri Rapin. At the International exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts in Paris 1925, Tharaud was prized for his technique of high-fire enamelling directly onto the raw porcelain. A decorative Royal Doulton series ware Bread as Pleasure D3444 plate with an heraldic motif, in the pattern number D3444. This plate features a green acanthus border with repeating turrets and scroll sections and a central crest with a lion and the legend BREAD AS PLEASURE DRINK BY MEASURE...

This set of 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1940s or 1950s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. The fine translucent porcelain has a molded swirl pattern. They are hand painted with Dresden type floral painting in vivid colors. Condition: Excellent

This is a large vase, and rather heavy, 21 1/2" long, 11" across, signed with a "P" in the chalky base. I've examined it closely and find no chips on rim or anywhere else. The piece is entirely hand thrown and decorated/painted, and quite Arts and Craftsy in feeling. I am a paintings specialist so this is somewhat out of my league. I did send images to Rago Auction in New Jersey and they were unable to identify the maker. It was found here in Southern California...

A pretty pair of Dresden porcelain candlesticks with traditional hand-painted floral decoration. Dresden candlesticks are rather uncommon. The squared bases are intricately pierced and decorated with flowers and gilt highlights. The columns are similarly decorated. Bobeches separate the columns from the candle sockets...

A large figure group, depicting a couple in traditional dress made, in the 1970s during the Soviet era, by the Pollonnoye porcelain factory, Ukraine. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 27.5cm (10.8inches) high...

This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design. Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.

French Faience Pottery Transfer ware small Plate, Cow with bell around the neck in the green pasture bordered by repeated pink flower petals, 6 1/2" diameter, 7/8" high, very pleasing and peaceful design, black writing mark and impressed mark "V9" on the bottom. The condition is good.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1946. It is 10 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches high. The dog is well proportioned according to its breed. He is pointing in the heat of the hunt. Rosenthal artists depict dogs at their best. Condition: Excellent

These "Liberty Blue" cup and saucer sets are 2 5/8". They have a blue and white floral rim . The scene in the saucer is that of the Old North Church. The scene on the cup is that of the Paul Revere riding through town. They are in excellent condition.

Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

A 1920's Van Briggle Pottery Advertising Display. This was probably meant to hold brochures about the pottery. Measures about 5" by 4 1/2" by 4". Marked on bottom as shown. Shows wear, losses to applied color. Rare memorabilia.

This is wonderful hand painted cottageware / cottage ware cream and sugar and teapot made by Price Brothers, Kensington, Staffordshire England. It is marked Ye Olde Cottage. The shape is thatched cottage with flowers and vines.

The teapot is 5.5" x 4/5" x 5.75" tall.

The sugar with lid is 4.5" tall x 3.5" square.

The creamer is 2.75" tall x 3" square
