From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a large and very fine Persian rug, hand-woven of wool and silk in a rich and elegant palette of deep red, dark and light blue, tan, mint green, pale orange, and cream.

Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

A wonderful micro beaded figural purse from the 1st quarter of the 20th century. The scene shows two figures in 18th century clothing, the man serenading, with a mandolin, a woman seated in a chair in the garden. The same scene appears on both sides of the purse.

Complementing the multi-colored scene is a beautiful enameled and jeweled frame and a full four color fringe.

The condition of the purse, inside and out, is excellent, with no holes or tears. The clasp closes firmly and evenly...

DESCRIPTION: Great reversible pattern Pendleton blanket with horizontal rows of red, orange and white chevrons. The background is dark green on one side and grey on the reverse, edged with a dark red crisscross fringe on all sides. Perfectly sized for either a twin bed blanket or a wearable wrap. Pendleton label, late 1900s, good condition with no holes or tears. DIMENSIONS: 67" x 70" + 6" fringe.

A charming petit point on silk purse, done in the tiniest of stitches, and showing a different scene on each side. On the front is a young woman feeding a chicken, the other side showing a swan in a lake with a fountain and castle in the distance. Both sides have a line of flowers surrounding the scenes, the whole against a pale gray lavender background...

Sassy little pouch purse! This little guy is a charmer. Lovely leather and sleek and shiny ranch mink. The leather plaque on the interior zipper compartment says : made in Italy for Lord & Taylor, 100% mink. The lining ( in perfect condition just like the outside ) repeats over and over again: Paola del Lungo. Purse is 10" wide, 7 1/2" high, 3" side to side. The straps are 22" end to end.

Antique Tabriz Carpet, Ca. 1900, 62" x 55", as is condition, nice and soft touch. It will make nice bench or chair cover.

Pua kumbu woven on cotton to represent chimeras, birds together with foliage and geometric design. Natural red, brown and blue colours. Sarawak (Eastern Malaysia), Iban peoples. Length: 220 cm. Width: 117 cm. Very good condition. Acquired in Singapore in 1978.

Geometric and intricately designed hand sewn throw pillow case, c.1910. Bordered (and backed) with a satiny black fabric gathered (2 1/2"), there is a yellow, green, pink, & lavender intertwining pattern of various geometric shapes and sizes highlighted by heavy black geometric stitching at the center. A large (50" by 40") hand carved, closed corner, gold leaf frame created by a high-end Orange County art gallery, the artwork within a hand embroidered needlework picture of an Olden Days (18th century fairy tale style dress) couple out for a stroll in a classic landscape with overhanging willow tree and birch trees. The needlework is of unknown age but it is not antique...

Cotton hand made sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 42 sunbonnets in this 64" by 78" quilt. The sunbonnets are made of various fabrics and are highlighted with large black stitching on a white background. The back is made of red and blue floral fabrics. Vintage Hermes-Paris 100% silk navy blue pocket scarf or handkerchief with a soft geometric gold and ecru chain link pattern. In excellent condition this scarf has never been used. Measures 16.5 inches square.

A charming two-sided silk stitched purse depicting a suitor weaving flowers into his beloved's hair, with the reverse side showing a bouquet of flowers. The frame and chain are magnificent, with facet and slice cut pastes and faux pearls; purse is slightly soiled, but could be cleaned; 7 1/2" wide by 7" long

Afghanistan Wool grain or Saddle bag made to pillow, cushion, 12" square, all wool material, top is flat woven, geometric design in red wine color and darker camel hair color.

Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Lovely vintage Saint Lawrence seal (not seal but type of deep woods animal) fur cape with fold-over collar that extends to create slit pockets, held together with one fur hook and a beautiful detailed silhouette featuring fully lined pink doupioni silk, monogrammed, Wilhelm's Albany label, circa 1930. Size: Shoulder to shoulder-19"; Drop: Front-23", Back-28"; Sweep-50". Condition is excellent vintage.

Quilt made of wool rectangles of different wool fabric separated by pink stitching, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. The rectangles measure 4 1/2" by 3 1/4" and the quilt is 38" by 60". There is a 1" border of an interesting fabric. That fabric is the back with an interesting pattern of solid color strips of fabric. very good condition with a small amount of wear at the back of the strips of fabric, otherwise, the front is excellent......$75 for insured USA shipping.
