From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a large and very fine Persian rug, hand-woven of wool and silk in a rich and elegant palette of deep red, dark and light blue, tan, mint green, pale orange, and cream.

Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Friendship hand made quilt with each 7" by 7" square embroidered with a different name in various letterings, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. Trimmed with 1" blue border, there are 72 names in total and the quilt measures 73" by 64". Quilt is thick and heavy and in excellent condition. Very unusual.....$75 for insured USA shipping.

Geometric and intricately designed hand sewn throw pillow case, c.1910. Bordered (and backed) with a satiny black fabric gathered (2 1/2"), there is a yellow, green, pink, & lavender intertwining pattern of various geometric shapes and sizes highlighted by heavy black geometric stitching at the center. A large (50" by 40") hand carved, closed corner, gold leaf frame created by a high-end Orange County art gallery, the artwork within a hand embroidered needlework picture of an Olden Days (18th century fairy tale style dress) couple out for a stroll in a classic landscape with overhanging willow tree and birch trees. Set of six vintage hand embroidered and fringed whimsical cocktail napkins. The high quality fabric is a lovely peach shade and the satin-stitched embroidered pattern is very similar to the design on the well-known "Sweet Ad-a-line" silkscreened cocktail shaker. Persian Heriz hand knotted wool carpet, room size 9' x 12 1/2' Ca. 1950's, beautiful reddish geometric design in the center bordered by dark blue background, typical Heriz design, the condition is good, nice soft wool touch on the surface and very clean and in good condition.

A beautiful, elegant, and rare carpet motif micro beaded purse. The rarity of the purse comes from the use of an open field in a cream white with representations of four flasks. The field is surrounded by a triple guard (borders) of extremely detailed and intricate flower representations. Finely done carpet motif purses, as this is, are known to use beads of the smallest size, often far smaller than figural or scenic purses...
