Hewn from one piece of wood, our porcine friend leisurely resided for many years on the enclosed back porch of historic Coolmore Plantation, Taroboro, NC (see last photo of home). In very good condition, she does have some age cracks, but is very solid. Measures 21 inches long x 13" high x 12" and weights 21 lbs. Age unknown so we are listing as vintage.

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1932. They have the date cipher that indicates this year. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. They are made of fine bone china and have a slightly scalloped edge. The ground color is cobalt blue with a lacy fern type gilding over it. The centers of each plate have hand paint bouquets of flowers in bright colors. The plates are signed by the Worcester artist, Townsend. No two plates are exactly the same...

Cylindrical pot in Chinese porcelain copying an 18th century model. Decor finely executed in enamels of the rose family, painted by hand, representing scholars under a pine tree at the edge of a lake.The reverse with poem. 20th century copy, probably from the 1960s. An original must exist in a Chinese museum. This type of high quality porcelain had to be ordered to be offered as a present? or others. In any case, porcelains of this quality from this late period are not numerous. Very damaged...

A beautiful set of six silverplated scallop shell dishes by Tiffany & Co. The dishes are worked with wonderful detail—even the feet have a decorative treatment similar to snail shells. These dishes are perfect for butter, mints, nuts, or even individual servings of cocktail sauce. The bottoms are marked “Tiffany & Co/Makers/Silver-Soldered”.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl Copenhagen between 1951 and 1960. It has the model number 2095. It is 6 1/4 inches high and 8 1/4 inches long. He is well modeled with all of the requirements of this breed of dog. He is hand painted and has a high gloss glaze. He would make a fine addition to any dog collection. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

An original and probably unique terracotta blacksmith by Royal Doulton figure modeller - Peggy Davies who, in her early years, was an assistant to Clarice Cliff. This item was probably made circa 1955 - 1960 and carries an incised signature on the base. Condition - the hammer is missing from the right hand as is a piece of the iron held in his left hand. There are surface marks which we have not tried to clean. There are no cracks and no restoration...

Here is a lovely small tray in an exquisite blue and brown glaze by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 1 1/4" (3cm) high and is 5 1/2" (14cm) in diameter. On the understand Farsta is impressed on each of the four feet, Gustavsberg, Kage, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, Studio, and the date code Y. This piece was created in 1954. The name Hjelmberg is also etched. Mint condition.

Two stoneware tiles from the “Fritte” range, designed by Aldo Londi and produced by Bitossi in the 1950s for Illums Bolighus, famous design department store in Copenhagen. Impressed fish motif with fused glass – Italian “fritte” – one in Rimini Blu, the other a light olive green. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi. Both tiles marked Illums Bolighus and 715 B (one) and 724A (the other)...

Baby quilt embroidered with the child's prayer "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" with a yellow border. In each corner is a child kneeling in prayer with a baby animal or pet: a girl with a lamb, a boy with puppy, girl with bunny, and a boy with a kitten. Very good antique/vintage condition with some wear at the edges. Well quilted and embroidered, it measures 32" x 37.5". Dates circa 1930's.

A Very Cheerful Baby quilt embroidered with singing bluebirds in the upper corners with 2 happy children dancing below. Pink morning glories in all quadrants. In good antique/vintage condition, it measures 31" x 37". Dates circa 1930's.

A very rare wood and pewter bar caraffe or decanter with glass thermos liner and Swiss made musical movement which plays "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss. This item was designed by Aldo Tura for Macabo of Milan, Northern Italy, and made circa 1958. Condition: excellent - there is a little rusting to the movement which is in good working condition; there are no damages and no repairs or restoration. 32cm (12.6 inches) high.

This Victorian grapes napkin ring is topped with a leaf draped over one side of a wine barrel which is elevated on a short pedestal. The base in the shape of a grape leaf is elevated by a low, recessed ring. It is hallmarked Standard Silver Col., Ltd, Number 733.

This beautiful vase was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is 'Chickadee' and shows 2 birds on each side. Approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, the color is called 'honey - it's a yellow ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. This ring has been in my collection for decades, since 1980 in fact. It’s called Serenity but I’ve always called it my flattened egg ring. According to Georg Jensen archives, the ring was designed by Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe in 1974 (sometimes people accredit it to other designers). The ring is US size 6 but its design is very forgiving—it accommodates a larger finger. It is no longer in production.

Gorgeous large vase with a velvety matte finish shading from white to pastel blue. The pattern is diamond quilted design with white lining inside the vase. Circa 1895. Pontil is smooth ground polish. EXCELLENT CONDITION!

A beautiful blue glass bull figurine (with white latimo glass horns), designed by either Napoleone Martinuzzi, or, designed in his style. The figurine is 11 inches (28 cm) long and 7 inches (17,8 cm) high. There is a chip on the figurines tail and a chip to its bottom application (please see 4th and 5th pictures) - otherwise, it is in good condition. This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It measures 10 3/4 inches by 10 3/4 inches and is 3 3/4 inches deep. The bowl is square shaped with rounded edges. The porcelain is of the highest quality. Chinese style motifs are used for decoration. There are elongated, stylized dragons, fighting roosters and Chinese symbols hand painted and amply gilded inside and outside the bowl. There is heavy gold trim on the rim...

It is notable that both front and back surfaces of this fine aquarium are ground flat and polished, providing a crisp view of the finely crafted fish. The polishing is a considerable amount of work not usually seen in most Murano glass aquariums. I'm not sure who made this, but the surface polishing, fine detail of the polychrome fish, and the inclusion of glass thread and real sand between the layers of glass clearly render this a unique creation. This vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2753 Pine-Cone vase, and measures 6 1/2 inches high. The glass is light blue with a satin/acid etched interior to give more dimension to the details in the pattern. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

Offered is this beautiful copper wheel engraved plate in jade glass, made around 1930 by Steuben. The plate is about 8 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. It is signed by Steuben, both in block letters and with the fleur-de-lis symbol.
