A 9 inch tall Wisteria goblet identified as Steuben shape 7182. The unsigned goblet is pictured in the online shape gallery on the Frederick Carder Steuben Club. This goblet has an engraved mark on the edge of the polished pontil that reads “F. D.” The initials are engraved in reverse so that when seen through the foot they read correctly. Per the Carder Steuben Club shape gallery the pattern on the goblet is “unknown.”

Circa 1960's-70's, this Matl jeweled cross produced by Ricardo sits on a pedestal and is a hand-wrought work of art. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own. After 1980, Matl Salas pieces were also marked with MS-12. This cross pre-dates that mark. This stylized conch is documented in several publications, including Leslie Pinas' ITALIAN GLASS, PG 146, valued at $800-$1000 and Helmut Ricke & Eva Schmitts' ITALIAN GLASS. This modern expression of the conch shell exemplifies that even as the Murano glass designers were being influenced by the Modernist movement, life and elements from the Venetian Lagoon continued to serve as an inspiration for artists. Measuring 6.5"w x 3.5" x 5.5"h, the Conchiglie is in good condition, unmarked.

This unusual transparent window murrine vase by Fratelli Toso is documented in Leslie Pinas "FRATELLI TOSO", pg.68. Titled "Tiffany Windows" because of the transperent murrines, this vessel is amazing in good light and an excellent example of the Murano Glassblowers skill. Every murrine is transparent, allowing the light to flow through nicely and reminds one of "the colors of Murano"! A well made vintage WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik Germany) .800 silver soup ladle in the Chippendale pattern. Chippendale has been manufactured by WMF since 1930. This ladle measures 12-1/2" long, 3-7/8" across the bowl, which has curved edges, and it weighs an impressive 6.4 ounces. It is stamped WMF and 800, with the crescent moon and crown. Sumptuous sculpted sommerso bowl in ever so soft hues of teal and amber glass. My guess is that this is a Flavio Poli design due to the purity of form and soft hues of color. Obviously inspired by the nature of the Venetian Lagoon, this piece resembles a birds eye view of the island of Murano and its surrounding Lagoon. The base of the bowl was protected over the years by three felt pads added to the bottom, so the piece is in great condition. It measures 9.5"w x 3"h, unmarked.

Beautiful clear and frosted glass powder box by Rene Lalique. The box consists of two pieces, a lid and lower powder section. The lid has an overall floral design and the lower section has a more restrained version of the same floral motif. The box is 3.5 inches (9 cm) in diameter and is approx 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm) tall. The design is commonly known as "Emiliane" or Model 70. It is circa 1920 and has no chips, cracks or repairs. The base is frosted and it is signed R LALIQUE.

A distinctive and very uncommon Art Deco figural jigger in the form of an English riding boot (variously called a jockey, field or paddock boot). The details of the design such as the pull straps and seams are picked out in a raised design. For centuries, tastevins have been important accessories for French wine lovers, but until now we’ve never seen one that actually depicted “French wine lovers” in such graphic detail! Absolutely nothing is left to the imagination with this grouping of three. The unidentified maker is known to have made a similar tastevin depicting “Pétanque Fanny” merely lifting her skirts from behind.
