A mid century Chinese Buffet or Console Chest or cabinet made entirely of Chinese Hauli wood. Two double hinged doors open to a spacious storage area that includes 2 shallow drawers and 2 large compartments. Four side by side drawers along the top gives additional storage to this piece. Hand made bronze fittings and floating panels on all sides...

Lovemaking couple, mid 20th century. h. 35,5 cm. Provenance: Alain & Angèle Larem, Switzerland Madeleine and Jean-Jacques Keller (until 1980 Abidjan, later Rheinfelden). Good condition with nice age wear.

A pair of vintage Chinese silver white jade stone with a cameo in the center earrings, in very good condition. H:3.5cm

This inlayed Chinese ebony brush holder is 7” high and 6 ½” in diameter. It depicts a Shou Lao (god of longevity) holding a cane; a young boy carrying a flower basket stands behind him. Another young boy wearing a red robe is leading a deer cart filled with flowers and plants and walks in front of Shou Lao and his companion. The inlayed materials are dyed coral, mother of pearl, lacquer and hard stone. It is a 1950’s product. Aside from small age cracks, it is in great condition.

Standing female figurine, with typical coiffe and elongated head, scarifications on face and torso, arms alongside and separated from torso, small breasts, straight legs and big stylized feet. Wood, fine dark-brown semi-glossy patina. Africa, D.R. Congo, Mangbetu Peoples. Height: 11 7/8" (30 cm). The statue is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accident on left shoulder (local restoration), erosion, otherwise good condition.
