Hee was a Hawaiian born artist who went to China at the age of 14 to study Chinese brush painting. Titled and signed in pencil at the bottom, #24/26. It is set behind a glass frame. Fine and rare old Yao/Mien all hand spun and woven cotton wedding veil with silk thread embroidered geometrical design, circa 50 years old. This piece is from Kim Mien group and was originally collected in Northern Laos. The colors on this piece are subtle and restrained (please note the use of shades of brown and blue in enlargements) and the brown and white tassels. Except for a couple of tiny holes this piece is in excellent condition. W: 47cm/18.5in and L: 75cm/29.5in.

1930's Japanese Repousse Silver (tested silver with acid silver test kit) Chocolate Pot with Iris Marked "Kurokawa Sei Jungin" 純銀 - AS IS

It is 9.8 inches (25 cm) tall by 7.8 inches (20 cm) wide. It is 952.5 gram.

The pot has been repaired (resoldered) at the handle and flowers at the lid. It is also tarnished and has dents at the spout, cut marks at the lip, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...
