Chinese round table of natural gnarled, twisted hardwood roots, and a transparent russet lacquer. The table is constructed in two parts- The trunk-like pedestal base and the rooted edge, round top. This type of natural root furniture goes back to the 12th century aesthetic. Here is an example of the round center table produced during the Republic period, bearing the colonial form true to the Victorian Era.

Antique Chinese fine famille rose porcelain vase with landscape of mountains and lake. The vase is an elegant shape with defined calligraphy. This style of decoration was popular in the 1930s. The base bears the studio name: Yitao Zhai, similar in style to the Society of Eight Friends. Produced by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971). It measures 14" tall x 6.5" wide.
An antique Chinese monochrome cucumber green beaker. The beaker was used as a drinking vessel. It has a cylindrical shape with a trumpet shaped top and flared base and with no handle or stem.

A Chinese couplet scroll in calligraphy excerpting from a work composed by the noted literati scholar, Su Dongpo from the Song Dynasty. Work contains the signature and seal of Zheng Xiaoxu (1860-1938).The two line couplet expresses how as there are different ways to point out the errors in an embroidered robe, or a crane hesitating to fly has yet to mature into an immortal. Very beautiful antique circa 1900 pale blue Chinese Peking glass necklace, possibly a prayer necklace, with 30 round beads carved in a basketweave pattern,
and a center oblong pendant with carving and piercing, all strung on the original very intricately Chinese knotted thread. The color of the pendant piece seems
to be very slightly different from the round beads. Wearable length of the necklace is 34 inches. The round beads are 10mm in diameter...

Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), Founder of the Ganden monastery in 1409, is portrayed with lifelike facial expression and graceful bearing. Pair of Chinese antique erotic mirrored imaged plates done in famille rose showing a man and a woman involved in creative pleasures. The plates are gilt rim and the underside of each plate are glazed in pink. On the base of each, there is a 6 character Tongzhi (1862-1874) mark in iron red. These plates come boxed.

This is an outstanding 19th century Chinese Export enamel cloisonne round-form planter with floral decoration on a turquoise ground standing on three brass feet; rich coloration. Measures 8.75 opening x 4 in. tall. Cloisonne and enamel near perfect, wear to enamel inside.
This planter does have three feet although the angle of photo obscures one of the them.

Ducai flared vase made of porcelain, Chien Lung mark, Ching Dynasty, late Republic Period, 20th century. Decorated with scrolling vines and flowers with fans, medallions, and other items throughout. There are two geometrical registers that decorate the base and middle registers. It measures 6.25" at the mouth, 5"6/8" at base, 13.25" tall.
Antique Chinese pair of square hardwood tables. Each table is inset with a large square porcelain panel which sits into the top and is removable. The panels are glazed with scrolling vines and flowers with bats in the corners on a greenish blue ground. Each table has a solid shelf and swirling aprons.

Condition: Good overall condition for their age. The branches on these are quite delicate and there has been some breakage...
