The theme of the bowl is the 3 Friends of Winter or Shochikubai (plum blossom, bamboo, and pine tree) in colored enamel against a gray ground in the center. Exceptionally rare early 20th century small, complete betel box with za-yun pattern, emulating English embroidery stitching. There are some cracks on the lacquer surface as well minor losses on the edge (especially on the inner box) all visible in enlargements. This is a specialist’s collector piece, for real lovers of Burmese lacquer. H: 8.4cm/3.3in and D:11.6cm/4.4in

A very old ghurra with super fine design achievement, Note a standing protector ( H 3.5 cm) on each side of the house on top of the ghurra, the protectors are barely visible as they are deeply encrusted and worn out, exceptional signs of a great use , at least from early 20th, H 24 cm, wide 6 cm, thick 4 cm.
