The other pair are in stance. Again with unglazed bases with incised numbers.

Republic chinese pair of ceramic wall vases with charming flowering vines and peony flowers and butterflies. Studio ware, one with red rectangular seal on base. They measure 6" tall, 3/4" deep.

Traditional Yemeni necklace with an amulet box, made of silver and coral. First half 20th century. The amulet box has a maker’s mark on the top. The box is 5 cm. wide. The necklace is 48 cm long. From a Dutch private collection. Overall in good condition with expected age wear on the box.

Beautiful rustic large wooden bowl from Philippines. The wood has beautiful tones. Age: 20th Century. Size: 22" top diameter x 16" bottom diameter x 7.5" height x 1" thick.

Nice flat and thin primitive mask with a white painted trisul on the front. Hard black patina, the eyes and mouth are under-ligned with an old white paint. Hairs are fixed with glue. Note a laocal repair with iron wire mostly visible from the back side. Unusual architectural element, carved in the form of a smiling man standing on the head of a water buffalo ("carabao"). This element was part of the decoration inside a house. Wood, semi glossy patina. Indonesia, Flores Island, mid 20th century. Height: 44 cm. The element is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition despite some remnants of insect infestation (no danger).

Serene low fire glazed Chinese Garden Stand. Has a cylindrical round shape, with green, blue, cream, and yellow glazed colors. Shaped in three tiers. Top tier is circular, with cream cut out design in middle. Bottom two tiers are hexagonal shape. Cream and Blue cutouts of vine and floral designs grace this tranquil piece. A very finely painted fencai/famille rose enamelled teapot.The poem on the reverse side reads - "fang sheng chi jia; xiang qin xiu pi" which can be translated - "Fragrance (of tea)formed between teeth and cheeks; the scent (of the tea) deeply affects heart and spleen (refreshes one deeply)". It is signed "nie xing she zou" - "made by Nie Xing Sheng" (b.1909; d.1981) - active 1916-1981. The base mark reads Jiang Xi Mei Shu Ci Chang - "Jiangxi Art Porcelain Factory"...

A well modelled and painted glazed and "biscuit" figure of Budai made in China during the Republic period (1912-1949). On the base is the mark: Man Yi Sheng Zao - "Made by Man Yi Sheng". This item was brought to the UK by a Liverpool seaman during either the 1930s or 1940s. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...
