Teapot, milk jug, cup and saucer, a solitaire service made by the Carl Knoll factory in Czech Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).

Description: Excellent color, long handle, Doric type columns, road imprinted with wheel marks terminating at a gate across the far end, arched leaves overhead, rolled in top with pulled pouring spout.

Dimensions: 7 3/4" tall, interior diameter is 4 1/2"

The painting was attributed to Momokawa Meiho. Ink on paper. No framing. The painting depicts a peaceful scenery of a valley and mountains.. No signature. Good condition, except for some small cracks of the crisp paper.

Large, iron figural standing mirror, c.1870. Very decorative - cherubs, women fairies, flowers, hearts, & torch and arrows make up this intricately designed mirror - see photos. Ishii Kinryo(1842-1926) was a Japanese painter active during Meiji(1868-1912) - Taisho era(1912-1926)in Japan. Kinryo travelled all over the country and taught students at his art school after he got back to Okayama prefecture...

This Victorian grapes napkin ring is topped with a leaf draped over one side of a wine barrel which is elevated on a short pedestal. The base in the shape of a grape leaf is elevated by a low, recessed ring. It is hallmarked Standard Silver Col., Ltd, Number 733.

Wonderful birds, stars, and flowers patterned coverlet of wool and cotton hand woven in two sections and signed "MADE BY D.SNYDER HANOVER TOWNSCHIP NOR T.CO 1840" and is signed on the four corners with fringed edges. The coverlet has birds on three side and flowers on one side. The colors are red, blue, and mustard on an off white background. Stevens & Williams Vaseline Opalescent Epergne stands 13" tall, made in the 1880's! The base is 8" wide. Has a couple of very small bubbles within the bowl. Otherwise, it has no chips or scratches.
