This beautiful shibori (tie-dye) is already cut to make a haori jacket. The skinny pieces under the arms are cut and attached by someone who knows what he is doing. It has not gone through Yunoshi, the process to stretch shibori using steam. Vintage Chinese sculpture of a resting horse with its head raised and turned back, carved out of solid amethyst. Beautiful stone ranging from typical amethyst purple to rock crystal transparent, natural lines in the material. Very good quality carving capturing the essence of the creature, excellent finish, very pleasant to hold. Length 2.85 inches.

Being offered is a superb circa 1970 sterling silver pitcher made by Tane Silversmiths (the Tiffany of Mexico) of Mexico City, Mexico. Heavy gauge bulbous form fluted pitcher decorated with an alternating gilded vertical ribbed pattern; stylized handle and a gilded motif above the circular base. Set of 6 (1930's) Chinese Sterling Silver Tea Cup & Saucer with Melon & Butterfly Marked

The dish is 0.6 inch (1.5 cm) tall by 2.95 inches (7.5 cm) wide. The cup is 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) tall by 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide. The total weight is 369 gram.

A vintage pierced sterling silver napkin ring c1920s by Roden. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. This 1-3/4" across napkin ring is 5/8" wide, and it has (remarkably) never been monogrammed...

The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man.
