1930's Chinese Silver Tea Set with Fu Dog Marked

The teapot is 6.8 inches (17.5 cm) tall by 10.35 inches (26.5 cm) wide. The sugar bowl is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) tall by 5.8 inches (14.8 cm) wide. The creamer is 4 inches (10.1 cm) tall by 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide. They are 981 gram.

They are tarnished and have surface wears and scratches. The teapot has small dings (as seen in the photos).

Antique Japanese globular bronze vase. Very simple with 3 raised koi fish swimming together and cresting the surface of the vase as if it were water. The raised details of their eyes are highlighted with gold inlay. Signed Shihou and dated July 18, 1926.

Unusually large ca.1935 iron tea pot made for the hearth 'irori' in old japanese minka farmhouses. Stamped with the famed Nambu Iron Foundry in Tohoku Northern Japan, the inscription reads, 'Tetsubin Nambu Seido' iron teapot made at the Nambu Foundry. What makes this tea pot special besides the size is the 'arare' (hail) pattern of raised protrusions. Very art deco. 47cm tall x 43cm wide. Ask for shipping quote.

American Made Early 1900s Brass Fireplace Tongs 24” length scrolled design Berlin Estate

Japanese pottery tsubo vase. An earthy, drab gray-green glaze on porcelaneous body with thin iron wash and with bold, rich red iron oxide glaze painted floral decoration on opposing sides of the tsubo form with thickly potted shoulder rising to a broad, everted rim. Two character impressed artist's mark inside the foot appears to read Kazan ('Ka' being the 10 stroke character also read as "hana".) A pleasant, substantial feel when held. Excellent condition. This really pretty green Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, depression glass two-handled sugar bowl with lid was made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This sugar bowl measures 6 3/4 inches high to the top of the knob on the lid X 4 inches in diameter not including the handles. A whimsical khaki green-yellow glazed Japanese pottery figural sake pot depicting a tanuki trying to make off with a proportionately larger sake barrel. Early 20th century to turn of that century. Good condition. Height 3 1/2 inches (8.89cm). About 4 1/2 inches (11.4cm) length from tanuki's nose.

Indiana Custard was only produced for 2 years, from 1933-35. The rich ivory color blends well with just about any table setting. Offered here is the 11 3/4 inch oval platter in excellent condition. I have 2 available, price is per platter. See my other listings for more in this wonderful pattern.

This Fenton grape and cable carnival glass bowl is in the marigold color. It is 7 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 3/8" tall. This bowl is much like the Northwood version with four groups of grapes. Fenton arranges the four groups of grapes evenly with 14 grapes in each group. What seems to be different to me is the saw tooth edge much like Northwood.

There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs. This carnival glass bowl is in excellent vintage condition.
