Junrei's hakui (pilgrim's hanten) with many stamps of holy places in Shikoku, which is made of white hand-spun cotton. The ink letters reads "Shikoku Hachiju-hachi-ka-reisho" which means eighty eight holy places in Shikoku. It seems that the pilgrim visited all the eighty eight holy places. In good condition. Yukata (cotton unlined kimono) with shibori (tie-dye) whose motifs are tomoe (three-way), aboshi (fishing net being dried) and a logo with the character uma (horse). The shibori techniques are: Miura shibori and Ori-nui shibori (folded and stitched). It is hand-sewn and all tie-dye is by hand. Vegetable indigo dyed. A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red. Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is also hallmarked by Gorham.

Two pair of Chinese turquoise glazed foo dog statues.
One pair on stands with the female holding it's young with it's right paw and the male holding a ball with it's left paw. Unglazed bases with the word China in faint on the base in red.
The other pair are in stance. Again with unglazed bases with incised numbers.

12 sterling silver demitasse spoons in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" they are filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The backs are marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling." The set of 12 is accompanied with it's original felt protector with 12 individual holders for the spoons.

Lovely continental porcelain oyster plates in three different colors; each in perfect condition; measures 9 1/2" diameter; one with pink center, one with blue center, and one with teal center; only markings on back are a raised star. This started out as a set of 12, and I have several left in stock.
A nice sterling silver double jigger, the bell-shaped cups joined by a spherical holder, by Graff, Washbourne and Dunn. This New York maker was known for the high quality of its smaller wares such as this. The company closed in 1961, but the generous weight of this jigger suggests an earlier date.

A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a chrome lyre with red bakelite-topped cocktail picks forming the instrument’s strings. The whole is set on a mahogany base. Sets such as this were used on bar and café counters to serve cocktail garnishes, canapés or even escargot.

Shino pottery is produced in today's Gifu prefecture since 16th century and it is distinguished by thick white glazes, red marks and the surface of small holes.

A nice sterling silver double jigger with a turned ebony handle. The jigger has a smaller and a larger cup, each in bell form. The jigger is marked by Edward San Giovanni, who worked in Ridgefield, CT during the 1940s and 50s.

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. The murrines feature clear "windows" of glass.Some have "bullseye" configurations in the clear window and black (nerox) glass frames. This is a delightful 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter bowl with a height of 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) due to the polished top. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1955.

By Hector Aguilar, the renowned silversmith from Taxco Mexico, this cream and sugar are made of copper with wood handles.
They measure 3 5/8" high, and the sugar bowl is 5" to ends of handles.
The wood is dark and finely grained. The handle of the creamer is slightly lighter in color.
Both are simple design, with attached lid and ball finial, and are hand crafted.
They are signed on the base with his conjoined initial monogram, with Taxco Mexico also stamped...
For the Horse lover in your family, this paperweight features murrines with an internal image of a horse. A very unusual find! The horse murrines are surrounded by floral murrines and the whole is encased in clear glass. The piece measures 2 1/2 inches tall and is 3 inches across, there are no chips or cracks. Original blue and silver foil label that reads MURANO / Made / in / Italy / GLASS is intact on bottom of weight. Circa 1960
