Large, iron figural standing mirror, c.1870. Very decorative - cherubs, women fairies, flowers, hearts, & torch and arrows make up this intricately designed mirror - see photos. It measures 15" wide by 16" long and is extremely heavy. Metalwork is in excellent condition but mirror can use some re-silvering, if desired. Would sit on a dresser but has a back loop for hanging. Japanese studio porcelain Quail family. Three pieces include male, female and young. The male and female heavy (1.8 lbs and 1.29 lbs [814 g and 586 g] respectively) and of stout potting though with well defined details and clear glaze with very faint bluish celadon trace where the glaze pools - mostly between feathers around the birds' necks. These two are clearly of earlier, accomplished production though not marked...
A delightful French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a carved rosewood cat arching his back to hiss at a little chrome snail. A wooden rack holds six chrome cocktail picks, each topped with a snail. All are presented on a macassar ebony base. Sets such as these were used in French homes as well as on the bar counters at cafes.
Han Dynasty - Warring States style cast Bronze Miniature Hu Vase, possibly period . Extensive mineral growth and areas of pitting a cast line can be seen on the base. Size H 5" by almost 3" square.
This is a massive Yves Saint Laurent galalith bead necklace withgold and enameled deep red metal spacers. It is 21" (54.2cm) long including the chain & hook (but not including the YSL metal tag). The center bead is 1" (2.9cm) in diameter. The outer beads are 7/8" (2.7cm) in diameter. They are strung on a fine gold chain. Each of the enameled spacers is a hair over 1/4" (.6cm) wide.
As mentioned above, there is a YSL metal hang tag at the end of the necklace...

BOWL #1 - Thickly potted with a thick slightly blue (Qingbai ?) glaze with a rolled rim. The glaze stopping short of the base revealing the white clay and the unglazed rim and base. No markings.

Condition: Bowl is slightly warped, but in otherwise good condition...
Vintage Chinese Vietnamese Rosewood and Mother of Pearl box, gorgeous mother of pearl inlay and engraving of a pagoda in a tropical background the corners have a Chinese auspicious symbol. Great condition no losses scratches or scuffs and all inlay is in place there is shrinkage to the lid making it sit slightly off set see images. Size 5.5"3.25" by H 2".
This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1920. It measures 6 inches high. It is artist signed by K. Tutter, a renowned modeler of porcelain. The blanc de chine cherub is modeled with excellent definition and adorable character. He is sitting on a huge gold ball seemingly about to slide off. Tutter used imaginative and intriguing subjects that are delightful.

Sarawak (Eastern Malaysia), Iban peoples. Length: 228 cm. Width: 107 cm. Very good condition. Acquired in Singapore in 1978.

This porcelain demitasse cup, saucer and plate was produced in German by Meissen between 1924 and the 1930s. The plate measures
6 1/4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cup has the traditional pointed edges on the rim and a twisted branch handle. Each piece has sprays of hand painted flowers. They are realistic and very colorful...
