Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. Japanese scroll painted with ink and colors on paper depicting the Rokkasen (Six Famous Poets of Japan that lived in 9-10th century) seated on the ground in different attitudes. Wonderful Zen quality to the brushwork, great composition, beautiful use of color. Brocade silk mounts, lacquered wood scroll ends. Inscribed with a short poem, signed KEIZAN, and marked with red paste seal and another seal lower on the painting. Scroll size 60x15 inches, painting size 26.5x10.5 inches.

Antique Chinese coin purse made of brass and enameled with cloisonne during the Republic period of around 1920. The purse is beautifully enameled with a colorful design that includes a central lotus flower and vines. It still has its original brown braided silk suspension cord and two fringed tassels.

CONDITION: Shows age and use. Overall, it is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, restorations, or repairs.

Antique early 20th-century Indian padlock entirely made of brass and adorned with the Hindu god Hanuman on the front plate.

Please note that this lock is entirely made of brass, including body and shackle. The later Indian brass padlocks have an iron shackle instead of a flat brass shackle like this padlock.

Haku Maki did the months of the year in hiragana, not in Chinese characters also used for months in Japan. August はちがつ was created in 1977 and is number 53 of an edition of 202. It measures 13.75in wide x 5.75in high. It is in excellent condition.

Very decorated bowl made of metals of different colors, with bats on the side; beautiful patina. 43 cms.

Chinese Bamboo woven Food Basket with Bamboo handle, 19" high with handle, 13 1/2" x 7 1/2" wide, made later part of 1800's to early part of 1900's, with three(3) tiered compartments. Some of the Brass decorative buttons are missing. Bottom of the handles on both sides have carved Monogram "S" and very fine Bamboo weaving with many detailed different patterns on the entire surface.

The use of long and short stitch in this Hazara textile from central Afghanistan gives a more detailed surface that better reflects the light than satin stitch. Silk thread on a fine cotton ground, the overall design alternates densely embroidered areas with others left unworked. This napkin measures 32.5 x 34.8 cm and is in excellent condition. Estimated age: late 20th century. The continuous supplementary-weft technique makes this textile reversible and either face may be used as the front.

Antique rectangular-shaped snuff box made of high-quality German pressed birch bark from 19th century Germany. The flip lid features brass hinges embossed in relief with a scene depicting a drunken man sitting on a well pump spout among the trees while two women keep him company.
