Traditional pipe from Tibet made of white yak horn (rarer than black) and silver.
Beautiful typical Sino-Tibetan craftsmanship including long life symbol.
It was usually slipped inside the boot. Good condition with expected wear and tear; light knocks on the stem (see pix 4-5). Tibet, 21 cms
A small Chinese inkstone carved from a Duan like stone. The inkstone is carved to portray a landscape view with the basin area of the stone to form a pond or lake. Often Chinese inkstones will allude to literary themes for scholars to enjoy.

Korean folk art carved wood figure. Bearded man in traditional attire. Holding a pipe in left hand, the right hand positioned to hold a staff and pierced for that purpose (staff missing.) Good condition save a couple chips along the brim of the hat. Height 8 1/2 inches (21.59 cm)

Traditional tobacco box made from water-buffalo horn used by the minorities in the south of China (Dong, Miao, Yao...).
It usually has 2 compartments, a big one for tobacco leaves, a small one for the tow.
Beautiful nature inspired carving.

Pilgrim Cranberry 10" Swirled Vase is in mint condition. Produced in the late 1970's.
Traditional Tibetan bowl for tsampa (barley flour dough, the usual Tibetan meal) made of burl and silver. Beautiful outside silver decoration with geometrical and floral designs.
This bowl probably belonged to a wealthy person.

This wallet from Afghanistan measures 15.5 x 31.5 cm and is embroidered in silk thread on a pink satin ground. The embroidery technique is an intricately worked ladder stitch, with button hole stitches and corded silk tassels for closure. The purse is from Katawaz, in Ghazni province, with two interior pockets. Condition is excellent, estimated age mid to late 20th century.
With three inner compartments this vintage wallet from Afghanistan dates to the mid 20th century and is lined with red printed cotton and heavily decorated with woven blue seed beads which act as charms to avert evil from the wearer. Silk thread is intricately worked in ladder stitch forming volute motifs accented with gold metallic braiding on an ivory linen background. Condition is excellent.
