Measuring 6.75 inches in diameter and 4 inches high, this wonderful, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, spongeware batter bowl features fabulous blue sponging and is much more striking “in person” than the photos were able to capture.

The bowl sits on a 1/8" high footed base and has a lovely turned edge rim. It has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery as well as two, very tight hairlines approximately 1.50 inches in length...

Gorgeous silk panel with fine embroidery design, with embroidered band on outside, the scene depicting a rich image of flowers, fruit and an elaborate flying creature, appears to be a butterfly, all on salmon ground with vivid colors and fine peking knot details in the butterflies, late Qing era. Measures 13 1/4" x 15 1/2". The outer band is varying shades of blue on a black background, foliate designs with classical Asian geometric background...

This tobacco pouch ("kochor") from Indus Kohistan is embroidered in silk thread on cotton, with extremely fine cross- tent and satin-stitch, and white glass beaded tassels to adorn the edges. The bag measures 7" x 8" with the tassels. There is a string on the side of the bag which is used to hang the purse from the water pipe ("huqqa") while it is being smoked. There is some slight damage on one face, unsurprising given the age of this purse which is estimated to date from the mid to late 20th...

Chinese natural Turquoise Ornament, Tassel with Macrame knot, 7 1/4" high-maximum height for Tassel, and 7/8" high, 5/8" wide, 1/4" thick for Turquoise piece, shows natural grains of the stone. The condition is good.

The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide.
