This is a beautiful ladle measuring 12 3/4" in length. The bowl is in the shape of a large shell, and there is a lion engraved on the handle. There are four marks on the back of the handle which I tried to photograph. The first long one I can't make out, the second is the head of a lion with a crown on his head, the third is a full lion, and the last has initials which I believe to be HB. I believe the ladle to be Georgian.

A very rare Lalique glass "le Heure Bleue" Eau de Cologne bottle produced by Guerlain, Paris, circa 1914. Condition: excellent - no damages and with some of its original 'perfume'. 16.5cm (6.5 inches) high.

Like a Venice evening, this amazing murrine lamp rediates a soft, colorful ambiance when lit. The brass parts have a nice aged patina. The lamp had to be re-wired, as the original 90 year old vintage wire was frayed. Otherwise, the lamp remains in its original pristine condition and is an amazing example of the skill of the Murano Glassblowers. The lamp is documented in "Catalogo a stampa Fratelli Toso, 1920 ca",page 41.

This leaded fixture is well done with beautiful coloring. Bunches of grapes hang in red and purple, along with green leaves admist a carmel background. It has a 24" diameter and is approximately 14" deep.

A rare antique Chinese apple green Peking Glass snuff bottle with stopper. The bottle has rounded shoulders and a thin carved oval shaped foot. The jade lid with a coiled dragon and bone spoon. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, Lapis Lazuli and other valuable minerals.

Lovely antique silk Chinese panel embroidered with metallic wires framing flowers and butterflies in jewel tones of purple, blue, raspberry, and gold, natural linen backing, black silk border, easily opens to make a pillow if desired. Size: 12 1/4" x 8 1/4". Condition is good overall. Loose metallic wires, border seams need re-stitching, some loose embroidery threads.

The natural ash glaze gradates from a light-glossy grey on one side to a blueish grey on the other. The foot of the bowl is unglazed at the base and shows traces of ferrous-rich clay in the form of an orangish hue. The mouth of the piece is somewhat oblong giving it an attractive shape and the rough texture and ash deposits in places give this bowl a weighty presence...

From an extensive private collection of ivory and bone desk objects, this is a scrimshaw letter opener, by Alaskan Eskimo carvers ca. 1950, made of walrus ivory, with etched fish form handle; the blade etched with a scene of a seal and her pup on an ice floe; signed “F.E.”famous carver Frank Ellanna,of King Island,Alaska. A young woman dressed in a white robe with red hakama pants is holding a folding fan and is posed to do a dance. This dress is often known as Shirabyoshi where these were sacred dances offered to the gods. The shirabyoshi figure evokes the Heian and Kamakura aesthetic and the legends contemporary to the era that portray the Shirabyoshi. Work is signed and sealed by an artist named Nanko. Exquisite and very unusual Moser vase. Patter is like a paper doily, but its all enamel, raised and with white enamel jewels. This lovely vase measures 20 1/4" tall x 6 1/2" wide. It goes from light green at the base to a darker green on top, and is in perfect condition.

A Mary Gregory Style Cranberry Tumble Up Set, Decanter and Tumbler (night time, bedside water set). Dimensions; decanter, 8" x 4.5", boy(chasing bird); tumbler, 3.5" x 2.75", girl (with plate and spoon.) Probably Bohemian, circa 1900-1920. Excellent condition.

“Silver” hallmark on the back. Size: 9cm long, 6.3cm wide. Condition: very good. No loose gems.

Chinese round table of natural gnarled, twisted hardwood roots, and a transparent russet lacquer. The table is constructed in two parts- The trunk-like pedestal base and the rooted edge, round top. This type of natural root furniture goes back to the 12th century aesthetic. Here is an example of the round center table produced during the Republic period, bearing the colonial form true to the Victorian Era.

The base bears the studio name: Yitao Zhai, similar in style to the Society of Eight Friends. Produced by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971). It measures 14" tall x 6.5" wide.
