The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide. Japanese 20th century NEZUMI SHINO ware KASHI BACHI shallow bowl or dish. Signed by artist, KOSABURO, in back. The container has the simple design of a few bamboo leaves. The container measures 6 5/8" long by 6 1/2" wide by 2 1/8" tall.

Japanese mid 20th century pure silver pair of cranes and bronze tortoise on large bronze base. The base is done as a small rocky hill with bamboo growing. Done in a wonderful design with great detail. Each crane is marked JUNGIN, or pure silver. The base is signed KATSUNORI, in back. The entire piece measures 22" wide, 18" tall and 14" deep.

The print measures 14 1/2" wide by 18 1/2" tall. The sides of the paper have been folded to make the paper 18" wide.

A set of five Japanese Fukagawa porcelain bowls and covers, each decorated in gold, iron red and underglaze blue, with a delicate design of maple branches. Marked on the bottom with a Mt. Fuji (and river) logo of the Fukagawa Seiji Porcelain Company, circa 1920-1940.

Approx. Dimensions of Bowls 4" (10.1cm) in diameter and 2 3/8" (5.5cm) in height. Lids, 3.5" (9.5cm) in diameter. Total 3" (7.5cm) in height.

Lovely covered dresser box attributed to Artisti Barovier, circa 1920s. In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. Excellent condition.

This Miao silver drinking horn would have used for special occasions i.e. prospective in-laws visiting etc. The horn is small 6.5 inches from tip to far rim. The reposse design of dragon and fish is mirrored on each side of the horn.

Beautiful Kutani porcelain vase; hand painted with a scene of Chinese men in the rocky mountains in underglaze blue. The glaze has slightly blueish tint. Signed Kutani. The dimensions of the vase is 9 3/4 inches in height, 5 3/8 pounds in wood box (appears solid). The dimensions of box: 9" x 9" x 11 1/2". Circa, mid 1900s.

Iris & Herringbone was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 1932. Offered here is the 8 inch luncheon plate in excellent condition. These plates are often found with a satin finish and color wash on the reverse - this on is pastel blue. For more in this pattern, see my other listings.

Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines. Offered here is the ice bucket in green in excellent condition. This version has the pour spout so that a reamer can be inserted and the bucket serves double duty. it comes with the original metal handle & serving tongs. Japanese 20th Century woodblock print portrait of a nun by IKEDA SHU. The print is numbered 4 of 100 and dated 1969. Fine color and impression. There are slight creases in the lower right and left corners. The paper measures 15 1/4" wide by 23" tall. The actual print measures 13" by 20 3/4" tall.

An unusual protector coated with reddish mineral pigment (rato mato). The wild design takes advantage of the natural shape of a piece of trees, two broken branches figure the arms, the face is very simple and minimal Very strong wood and good condition, fossilized aspect in some areas , obvious signs of age possibly from early 20Th Height 90 cm , face 27 cm , the figures is based on a metal stand (not shown on the pictures)
