Superb gilt bronze figural inkstand depicting a still pond afloat with water lilies. Separately cast lily pads float just above the surface of the bronze "water", three buds in various stages of development rise above the leaves, and the whole is topped off by a fabulous full-blown waterlily inkwell with a honeybee finial. Mid 18th century bronze sitting Guan Yin statue from Nepal. It is 8 ½ inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. A few holes have appeared in the thinner parts of the casting and two fingers are missing. It is in fair condition.

Very well cast 18-19th century bronze Tara from north India or Nepal. It is 10 ½ inches tall and in very good condition.

A rare dated and inscribed bronze figure of Buddha from North China. Finely cast seated in dhyanasana on an ovoid plinth banded with a double lotus petals base. This realistically cast Meiji period bronze vase is 13 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at its widest point. It depicts an eagle resting on an old tree. There is a stamped maker¡¯s mark on the bottom which reads ¡°Hidemitsu¡±. The owner purchased this piece from Sotheby¡¯s in the early seventy¡¯s. It is in excellent condition.

This well cast Meiji period Japanese bronze vase is 10 ¾ inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at its widest. It depicts a wild goose flying away from the moon. The moon is silver inlaid and the goose is silver overlay on top of the bronze body. The goose eye and feet is gold. There is a maker¡¯s seal on the bottom, it reads ¡°Kyoto, made by Kuroda¡±. There are a few scratches on the body and lighter color around the moon due to cleaning.

This Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) bronze temple guardian is 13 ½ inches tall. The halo is a replacement and part of the mirror in his hand has been repaired. The weapon he carried is gone. Over all, it is in pretty good condition.
