Large Chinese Ming dynasty wide-mouthed globular form guan jar with short, vertical collar-like neck and wide angled mouth covered overall in a dark brown/black crackled glaze that coats the interior and ends at the base. A thread relief moulded band of scrolling foliage decorates the upper section of the jar. A narrow floral band is above it. This is a very fine pair of Japanese satsuma vases that stand just 4 1/4 inches tall. Attractive form, enamel colors and very fine details. They look like they have spent most of their lives stored in the box. One has the original sticker and both are signed. The signature looks a bit like the Kozan mark but we are not sure. Some of the larger flowers remind us of work seen on Bizan and Yabu pieces.

A bronze figure was finely cast in good size and was depicted by great craftsmanship.
Nice patina was preserved on the surface when accumulations were found within the pleats.
It was heavily cast in hefty weight.

A Chinese jade vase, carved in the form of a tall thin finger citron. The stone is of very pale hue close to the colour of the pictures, the body is thinly rendered and the exterior well detailed. It comes with its own custom made wood stand. Age: 18/19 C. size: 10 cm high. condition: very good, no breaks , no restoration.

The Guanyin is seated in rajalitasana, royal ease, on a pierced rockwork base with one leg lowered and the other with knee raised supporting the right arm, the face carved with a poised and calm expression, wearing a tiara and loose robes falling over the shoulders and open at the chest to reveal an elaborate beaded necklace.
