A delicate trace link gold chain with faceted synthetic amethysts and freshwater pearls. The four stones are collet-set with open back. There is a slight blemish on the table of one amethyst and the chain may have been shortened. The pearls are not perfectly matched and show light wear. Marked 15c on the spring clasp. Both chain and settings are guaranteed gold. Length 22" ~ weight 6.8 grams.

A rare finely carved cylindrical bamboo incense box depicting Scholars amongst rocks and pine trees in a mountain landscape. This item was made in China in the late Qing period - the characters carved into the top read "Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi" which translates as "Made in the Guangxu reign Qing dynasty" (1875-1908). Condition - one 2cm age related crack at the top - otherwise excellent with no damages or losses and no repairs or restoration. 22.7cm (8.8inches) high.

Fabulous early statement size YSL bracelet in heavy cast goldtone metal with faux mabe pearls in sculpted settings. Marked YSL and MADE IN FRANCE. Late 1970s or early 1980s, designed by Robert Goossens, who has designed jewelry for decades for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and other couturiers. Early foldover clasp. 8 inches long, just under 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/2 inch deep. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Display form is life size.
