Two sophisticated sleek sterling bangles with niello by Hans Hansen and Karl Gustav Hansen. One bangle carries the Hansen script while the other (smaller one) has the Karl Gustav Hansen mark - both are stamped Denmark 209. The inner diameter of one is just shy of 2-1/2"; the other is 2-1/2". Total weight 35 grams.

A stated second printing written by Diane Chalmers Johnson and published by Harry Abrams NY ( 1981). This coffee table book includes 394 illustrations with 41 full color plates. There is a spot on the bottom textblock and the pastedown in the back is showing some wear but the book is intact. The jacket shows light wear with a small crease on the inside corner jacket.

A stated Second Printing ( November 1975), published by Alfred Knopf, New York. The pages are uncut. There is light smudging and brown spots on the text block and on a few front pages as well as on the inside jacket. The cream colored boards are fine. 380pp plus index. Illustrated.

A complete two volume set published by Harper and Brothers, New York in 1894. The gilt top pages are uncut and there is a frontispiece with each volume. The dark blue cloth boards show some wear especially at the corners.

A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.

Four hand hammered solid gold bangles bought in Egypt during the 60's. They are unmarked and guaranteed. For a smaller hand and slightly out of round, the inner diameter on all measures 2-1/2". Total weight 39gr. Sold as is.

Here is a sensational sterling bangle with fretwork and crushed turquoise. Signed JEG Taxco 925 with an eagle 2. Weighing 53 grams, the inner diameter (closed) is just shy of 2-1/4" and the piece is 7/8" wide. Remnants of polish. The photos make the turquoise appear green but it is blue with a hint of green.

A collection of 52 UAW labor pins that date from 1937 thru 1941. There are three additional pins: Textile workers, Ford Drive (1937) and Vote Labor.

Six onion shaped salt and pepper shakers marked Sterling 100 with the Depasse(NY) logo. Four are monogrammed and there is a small bump on the bottom of one. The holes (smaller vs larger) indicate that there may be four salts and two for pepper. Sold as is. 1-3/4" (h)

A classy Zenith gold watch with 15k gold gate bracelet/band. The watch case is marked for 9k for gold content along with some other marks; the band is marked 15 on the box clasp. The crystal has faint scratches, and the back of the watch shows light wear as well as a few faint scratches. This is a heavy necklace with carnelian and a blue glass embellishment (three are missing as well as one small bottom dangle). The center stone shows some wear ( see photo). The chain, a replacement but identical to the original, measures 30", the pendant 3" x 4". Purchased in Africa during the 70's, the age is unknown.

A sensational heavy gold plate collar/necklace with matching bracelet, all set with faux stones. The gold has a vibrant Florentine finish and both necklace and bracelet are strung on a metal chain. Unmarked - perhaps a Les Bernard creation. The collar measures approximately 15", the bracelet 7".

Here is a wonderful gold charm bracelet with 18 charms weighing a hefty 82 grams. With the exception of a gilt silver enamel fish, all are either 14k or 18k. The sturdy 14k bracelet is marked 585 SVG and is perhaps Scandinavian. The enamel mandolin and lama in a circle are marked 18k. There is a marked 19k cuckoo clock. Here is a rare and wonderful photo collage of scenes from the building of the Alaskan Highway (completed in 1943.) Original snapshots. The center photo highlights what appears to be the official ribbon cutting; sixteen photos surround it. Below is a cartoon of a bear taking a picture of a man. Not examined out of the frame. 13" x 15".

A framed and matted etching possibly of the River Seine. There are water stains along the bottom edge of the mat as well as very light foxing; the print also appears to have light foxing around the corners. Stamped A. Delauney del 8c sc in the lower left corner. The picture measures 5-1/4" x 3-1/2"; the frame, 8" x 9-7/8". Not examined out of the frame.

Here is an exceptional early creation by Georg Jensen USA designer, Laurence Foss. It features square lapis stones accented by sterling floral panels with a hint of goldwash at the buds. Signed L/F Sterling, it measures 7" x 5/8" and weighs 38.1gr.

A lovely transitional etched Art Nouveau~Art Deco case with Czechoslovakian export marks along with FB 900 for silver content. The back has an engine turned design. The inside is smudged, the gilt is worn with stains that do not come out and there is a small raised pinpoint puncture that it is not evident from the outside.There are no bands to hold the cigarettes. An old mythical Dragon Horse necklace with low grade silver engraved balls, carved turquoise beads, natural coral branches accented by white and green jade hoops on a braided silk cord. Here is a wonderful, old, museum-quality sterling Jensen charm bracelet with eight charms. Five charms (frog,elephant,turtle,fish and seahorse ) carry the 1933-1944 Jensen mark. The ship charm, stamped CGH (C. G. Hallberg, Stockholm, Sweden) is dated N8 for 1939. The well- defined heavy dog and monkey charms as well as the enamel clogs are unmarked.The fancy link bracelet is stamped 22 along with the Jensen logo and measures 7” x 1/4" . Total weight 28.1 grams.

Here is a rare collection of menus for six days(Sunday-Friday) on the SS Paris French line. Thursday and Friday have minor smudging on the back but this lot is basically in pristine condition.
