Unusual early repoussed silver and amethyst pin, Mexico,c.1930. Very early, it is a combination of colonial and Taxco silver designs. Of good size and weight, it measures 3" wide by 1 1/4" wide and is signed "MEXICO SILVER". In good condition, but each silver ball has some dents. Beautiful large aquamarine 18k gold ring in period retro setting, c.1940's. Emerald cut stone is approx. 10-13 carats(measuring 3/4" long by 5/8" wide by 7/16" deep. Aqua is set in wonderful open work retro setting with front bow on either side and and flower on either end(see back photo). Signed "18K". Excellent condition except for a tiny nick in stone. Gold has original patina and ring is size 6 1/2...

Lushly designed floral sterling and amethyst pin sold by Sanborn's and possibly made by Fred Davis who managed and designed for the store from 1947 through the early 50's, Mexico, c.1950. Pin is signed "bellmark 22", which was Sanborn's number. It measures 2 1/8" long by 1" wide. Excellent condition except that pin was probably changed with lead solder. Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes. Pin has substantial weight and measures a VERY LARGE 2 5/8" IN DIAMETER. Very rich with a high level of artistry and original design...
