A monumental serving platter in the Cenis pattern by Ridgways. The motif features branches with pineapples, emphasizing hospitality. The condition is very good, yet expect a scratch or two, and some discoloration - but far less than commensurate with age. The platter wobbles, a not uncommon affliction of these older ceramic pieces as they were difficult to make in this size. A most gorgeous porcelain bowl hand painted with green and pink fancy decorations around the rim of the bowl with a central vignette of two birds fluttering in a magnolia tree. The rim is edged with a mustard enamel. The condition is very good with some enamel loss in the bowl though not easily recognizable. These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. Majolica wares were all about representing nature, and this gurgle fish pitcher is no exception. A set of 12 Gorham King George pattern soup spoons in very good to excellent condition, and lightly monogrammed. The bowls have slight scratches in some cases. The sterling mark has also worn off on some of the spoons, but we guarantee that each of these hefty spoons is sterling silver. A fine Georgian mahogany rectangular tea caddy with bail handle and diamond shaped lock escutcheon. The interior is fitted with 2 compartments for holding tea, and a center receptacle for the cut glass mixing bowl which we deem to be of the period. Gold accents which we do not believe are inlays decorate the edges of the ivory knop lids. French Rococo and Louis XV features inform the design of these candelabra which sit on a a footed sinuous base with ornate embellishments from which rise intertwining stems whose sinusoidal arms support separately 4 sockets and bobeches. The finish is gold patination of which there is modest loss. The base is constructed of 3 pieces. Other than the previously noted finish losses, the candelabra are in very good condition. A wonderful hexagonal shaped ironstone flow mulberry covered dish with handles, often times called a vegetable dish, in the Jeddo pattern by William Adams and Sons, c. 1850. Impressive Early American Pattern Glass water goblet with frosted foot and stem concluding in 3 lion's heads. The base of the goblet bowl is formed with six panels and the sides are clear, flaring slightly as the sides rise to the rim. Condition of the glasses is excellent with no chips or cracks.

Most likely made by Gillinder & Sons c. 1877, after introducing this type of glass at the Centennial Exposition in 1876.

This exciting horse drawn fire engine is clearly in a race against time, but the timelessness of this toy endures. It features a single horse pulling a fire pumper driven by a single fireman. Cast iron Eagle Bank in original nearly pristine condition. The bank features a mother eagle perched on a rock overlooking her two eaglets in their nest, ready to feed them when activated by the back lever which works well. A difficult wood with which to work, ebony is also an exceedingly attractive one as this hand carved crocodile attests with its exotic and realistic hide. Bone teeth and eyes complete the sculpture. These figures date from the early to mid 20th C, possibly of Indian origin, and are frequently found with lost eyes and teeth, making this one a choice specimen.

American Brilliant Cut Glass Pitcher richly cut with deep vessicas, stars, and other embellishments. The bulbous body tapers to wide neck with scalloped rim.
