Description:
This is a Liao dynasty (907A.D - 1125 A.D) green glazed moulded pumpkin shaped covered box. The top and bottom of the covered box is moulded in sysmetrical lotus design. A very beautiful piece.

Condition:
Generally in good condition. Minor abrasion. There is no chip, crack, glaze crazing, repair or any restoration.

Dimension:
The height is 7.1cm and the width is 11.2cm

This is Song dynasty Henan russet splash bowl. On the inside of the bowl there are two rows of iron brown streak flowing down along the cavetto and another row lower down. On the outside of the bowl, it is glazed with a black coloured glossy glazed covering all the way down just before the footrim.

Condition: No rdamage, repair, crack, chip or restoration...

A very beautiful and finely potted ewer of gourd shaped from the Song dynsty.

Very good condition. No restoration, chip, crack or hairline. Because of one of the small stone pit standing on the base, it does not stand totaly flat. However this does not affect the beauty and aesthetic shaped of the gourd shaped ewer. Nice gloss and colour.

The dimesnsion of the gourd shaped ewer: the height is 13cm and the width is 12 cm. The base width is about 6cm.

This elegant looking yingqing incense burner, from the late Song dynasty, is round in shape at the top like a ball with a double fluted flange as the supporting base. The cover is a semi-circle with intricately designed holes for the incense smoke to pass through.

There are some small manufacturing defects as seen in photograph 5. There are also many tiny bubble bursts indicated by the minute brown dots over the general surface of the body of the incense burner as in photograph 5...

This is a late southern Song dynasty black glazed eight lobed ewer. It stands on a short recessed base exposing the buff colour earthen clay material. The glaze is generally preserved.

Overall, it is in good condition. No repair, chip or restoration. As can be seen in photograph 4, there are three spots of glaze crazing and minute pin holes at the spout area and the body near the spout...

This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. The design is that of a beautiful water scene of a very lively, detailed and bright orange-red goldfish swimming among green seaweeds. There are three goldfish on the cover and five on each side of the tea pot. The base has the seal mark of Tongzhi and is of that period.

It is in very good condition with no repair, cracks or chips...

A very nice moulded Wanli period (A.D.1573-1619) blue and white kraak porcelain dish. It stands on a very short footrim with a recess base and then everted upward into a U-shaped moulded dish. In the centre of the dish, it depicts a pair of deer under a tree with flowering foilage and rocks. On the cavetto, it is painted with a two tiered brush stroke. Such almost identical dish is illustrated in Maura Rinaldi, Kraak Porcelain, London, 1989...

This is a Northern Song dynasty small russet black glazed henan splash bowl. It stand on a short recessed footrim and then the body everted upwards into a U-shaped with the mouth rim slightly everted inwards. The body of the small bowl is sturdily potted with a few splashed in the centre of the bowl and strips on the cavetto. On the outside body of the bowl, it has strips running from the top to bottom...

This is a late southern Song dynasty black glazed ewer. It stand on a short recessed base exposing the buff colour earthen clay material. It has two moulded leaf motif ear to the left and right shoulder of the ewer. The real item looks nicer than the photographs

This is a late Qing period crystal snuff bottle. On the shoulder of the snuff bottle it is curved with the design of Ruyi and the body that of the petals of the lotus and at the base it is surrounded all round with the lappets of the lotus. A very nice and elegant as well as well curved crystal snuff bottle. Cir. late Qing 19th/20th century.

The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour...

This is a two colour wufu and coin motif peking glass snuff bottle. The colour of the bat is in light brown colour and the coin is green colour. Wufu means the five fortune. The chinese coin in general means "Tong Bao" or treasure. On both side of the coin, it is inscribed with the character "Tian Xia Tai Ping" which means peace to the world. Cir. late 19th century.

Generally in good condition. No chip, hairline or crack.

A nice peking glass snuff bottle with a pair of qilong in three colour of blue, burgundy red and lime green. Cir. late 19th century.

The dimension of the three layered qilong glass snuff bottle: the height is 5cm, the length is 4cm and the thickness is 2.5cm.

This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. It depicts a beautiful summer scence with a pair of pairs, one perching on a tree and the other flying towards it. There is also some bamboo trees, gourd plants and lindzhi to the right of the taihu rock. The scence also depicts a beautiful red poeny flower to the right. The snuff bottle is in a moon flask shape with a footrim and a recessed base. One side of the snuff bottle show the pinkish flower of the lotus and on the other side it shows the large green leaf of the lotu's flower. On each side of the snuff bottle, there is a butterfly. On the side of the snuff bottle, the stem of the lotus flower is being tied up in a bundle witha blue and pink ribbon. The base of the snuff bottle bears the mark and period of Tongzhi (1826-1874)

This is a nice small southern Song dynasty (1127-1279) qingpai funerary grain storage house. It stands on a slightly short footrim with a recess base. The outer ring of the footrim is shaved inward. From the footrim, it slightly curved outwards to a bulb like body with a wide open mouth rim. The cover of the jar has a tradition Chinese rooftop design. This is a medium size bamboo brush pot with a mountain scenery. It is very well carved with many fine details. It even has the name of the mountain with scrolling heavenly clouds at the top and then with the pine and bamboo tress set behind a mountainous background.
