Chinese hairpin, decorated with kingfisher feathers, amber, jade and glass. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 15 cm W. 9 cm. Condition: slight damage to the jade ornament on the left, age wear to the feathers.
A lovely silver hairpin, inlaid with kingfisher feathers and decorated with a jade or nephrite butterfly, textile ornaments and two silver bells. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 15 cm. W. 5 cm. Condition: age wear to the feathers.

The pipe made of bamboo, the ends made of ivory. Engraved paktong saddle and a plain stoneware bowl with maker's mark. China, late 19th century. L. 49 cm (20 inch). Condition: age cracks in the ivory, wonderful patina.
A very fine example of Burmese lacquer ware, dating from the Mandalay period, ca. late 19th/early 20th century. Apart from sone minor chips to the lacquer and normal age wear, this offering bowl is in excellent condition. H. 58 cm. Diameter 31 cm.
A lovely hairpin, decorated with blue kingfisher feathers and ornaments in amber and jade. China, late 19th/early 20th century.
Length 16 cm. Condition: wear to the feathers.
Adorable embroidered silk children's jacket. Considering the elaborate embroidery on both sides this was probably a festival jacket. China, late 19th/early 20th century. Dimensions: H. 35 cm , W. 83 cm. Condition: expected wear, discoloring, stains and a few holes in the silk top layer. The glass eyes of the dragon on the back are missing.
With original pigments and excellent patina.
H. 40 cm (excl. stand). Provenance: Galerie Lemaire, Amsterdam, 1993.
Note: On this piece a name is written. I couldn't read it very well, but it is something like Imtree Well (?)
