A rare huanghuali scholar's box with it's original shiny varnish and original brass hardware.
China, late Ming to early Qing, ca. 17th/18th century.
Dimensions: L. 31 cm, W. 16 cm, H.10 cm.
Condition: excellent original condition, only one brass loop at the front plate missing, a small piece of hardware on the lid missing and one of the wooden feet missing.

Lovely small wooden house altar with fine carving and its original gilding and the original cover (most of the time the covers are missing). 19th century. Dimensions: 35x30x14 cm. Condition: a crack in the cover, some wear to the lacquer and gilding.
A very attractive and extremely rare sculpture in the shape of a basket holding a baby boy and girl. The porcelain body with splashes of Qingbai glaze. The outside of the basket decorated with characters for long life and happiness. China, Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368).
L. 15cm, W. 11cm, H. 7 cm. Condition: excellent, no cracks or repairs.
A very rare Qingbai melon shaped water dropper from the Hutian kilns.

Finely engraved, with excellent dark patina. Two engraved names at the back. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 34 cm. Condition: casting flaws (typical for Ming bronzes), ome curl missing at the foot of the figure.
Decorated with flying horses. H. 7 cm, D. 14,5 cm. No damage or repair, only firing flaws, normal for the period.

With a wonderful green patina. Excavated in Cambodia and dating from the 17th or 18th century. Length: ca. 10 cm (4 inches) each. Mounted on custom made stands.
A very unusual piece that I've never seen before. Possibly this lamp was made as an advertising piece for a lamp shop, or maybe it was used in an opium kit. The foot has decorations in reliëf, covered with enamels.
H. 25 cm (10 inch), D. 21 cm (8,5 inch). Condition: two minor chips to the enamel. The glass seems to be original.
A rare and finely carved boxwood tobacco box that could be hung from a man's belt. The lid carved with a 3-dimansional pair of Fo dogs, the sides with floral carvings with a bird and a deer. The opening where once the rope was attached, is in the shape of two bats.
China, 18th/19th century.
Dimensions: L. 7 cm (excluding the wooden ring), W. 3,8 cm, H. 3,5 cm.
Condition: excellent, with beautiful wear and patina.

Decorated with dragons, fish, butterflies and long life characters, inlaid with glass beads.
The enamels in green, red, purple and several shades of blue. This type of tiaras was worn by high ranking court ladies at the end of the Qing Dynasty. Size: W. 20 cm , H. 11 cm.

A rare and large blue and white porcelain jar, decorated with birds and flowers. China, Wanli (1573-1620). Height 21,5 cm. Condition: excellent, only some wear and fritting to the glaze on the mouth rim. On the bottom there is a scratch or glaze crack. This is not a crack in the body.
The cloisonné stand decorated with rat and vine motif (symbol of long life). H. 18 cm ( 7 inch), D. 10 cm (4 inch). Condition: one chip to the enamel.
A finely carved redwood (hongmu) box with carved soapstone ornaments in the shape of elephants. China, 19th century.
Condition: two ornaments missing on the lid, the third one with a repair to the leg.
Measurements: L. 13 cm, W. 6 cm, H. 8,5 cm.
Depicting a Tirthankara surrounded by consorts, elephants and figures in seated posture. The shrine is inlaid with copper and silver. A very dine piece from Gujarat. H. 15 cm (6 inch). Provenance: private collection Belgium.
Decorated with a bird on a rock and flower panels. Diameter 14 cm. The footrims with attached oven sand, often seen on porcelain from this period. Wanli (1573-1619). Condition: one saucer with a hairline crack.
