A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. Size: H. 84cm. W. 45cm. Condition: Perfect.

A very rare white porcelain Song qingpai ewer with a clear pale bluish glaze. The body and shoulder of the vase have skillfully executed free-flowing scraffiato designs of florals and leaves. The tall cylindrical neck is encircled at the base by two horned dragons whose heads meet at the spout. The grooved loop handle is further decorated with eight small balls. The glaze pools in some areas creating a beautiful light watery blue...

An original very rare dark green amber Han hill jar with lions, tigers, monkeys, deer, and horse and rider with bow and arrow. The lid of the hill jar represent the five scared mountains which is the path between the earth and Paradise.The scared mountains is filled with animals that live there. Age: Han Dynasty. 206BC-220AD Size: H.26cm. W. 21cm.Condition: No repairs, normal ageing.

Rare pair of Blackwood side chairs. These were usually reserved for the men. This is classical Northern Chinese design. Very simple but elegant, classical Ming design. My favorite type of Chinese furniture. Size: H.104cm W.52cm. Age: 18th century Condition: Old repair on one leg. See last photo.

A rare gentle-faced bronze figure of Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy) seated on a lotus pedestal. She wears an ornate necklace and has prayer beads on her right wrist. There is an image of Buddha beneath the veil on her head. Placed before her is her ambrosia bottle (kalasa). At the foot of her lotus pedestal is a band with two dragons facing a flaming pearl...

A very rare pair of ironwood chairs also know as Tieli mu. Ironwood has been used with huanghuali items since the Ming Dynasty. In all the years that I have been collecting Chinese furniture, this is the only pair of ironwood chairs I have come across. Ironwood is usually been confused with jichimu. I find it just as desirable. Size: H. 112cm. W. 60cm. Depth. 45cm Age: Mid Qing.Condition: No repairs.

A rare Pyu carved calcedony tiger with its 4 paws, upper back, and tail in carnelian red (presence of iron oxides in the stone). The body of the tiger is elongated with a curled up tail. Tigers of this type and age are difficult to find, especially ones that are intact...

A rear authentic Chinese Tang Tomb Guardian with beautiful sancai glaze. Chinese believed that there were evil creatures underground and had these type of guardians to protect the tombs. Size: 74cm X 28cm. Condition: In its original state. Some minor repairs but not totally reconstructed.

A large beautiful and rare pair of colorfully glazed peacocks which were Vietnamese temple birds. The glaze is still vibrant and the sculpturing is very finely executed. Age: Mid 19th century. Size: H. 56cm - 54.2cm. W. 36cm - 36cm. Condition: Very good. Some very minor chips and hairline crack on one wing. See photos.

This is the most desirable of all the Han dogs. Not only has it been beautiful executed but has one of the nicest faces I have ever seen on a Han dog,it looks great from every angle. Size: H.26.5cm. W. 23.3cm. Condition: Tip of left ear has been professionally repaired. Some minor chips around the base. Overall in very good condition.

A rare pair of authentic Ming glazed sansai pottery figures of an attendants on a hexagonal pedestals.Their long-sleeved robes are colored in finely crackled green and ochre glazes. Their life-like expressive faces are molded with exquisite detail. Usually attendant figures are based on actual attendants so attention was placed on capturing the person's real face and personality...

A very rare round tea stand made of huanghuali with an insert burl wood top by a round stretcher and the splay legs ended in "Lin Zi" head feet. Age: Early 19th century.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. This style of jar has been copied in later times in China and Southeast Asia. Size: H. 64.8cm W. 40cm. Condition: Perfect. No repairs.

A beautiful large matching pair of Ming attendants. It is unusual and rare to find a matching pair of a male and female attendants with a beautiful matching three color glaze. The expressions are very real and natural. Both original heads are removable.The heads are removable from the bodies because they are molded to look like the actual attendants that took care of the deceased. Size: Male H.46cm. Female H. 44cm. A rare Pyu carved green glass pendant with a figure of a man on the front and some writing on the back. Next to the glass pendant there are two small stone carved elephants. The rest of the necklace is made up of ancient gold and an assortment of gold and agate beads of the same period. Age: 100 - 500 AD. Size: 44cm end to end. Glass bead: H; 4.5cm W: 2cm.
