This piece have very sophisticated picture of iron glaze by the professional painter, the motif are plum tree and crythansmom. Plum tree is the symbol of early spring and crythansmom is one of autumn, they are loved among the eastern Asia people from ancient. The picture are painted under transparent glaze with iron glaze. Korean celadon had begun to be made in early 10th century under influence by Chinese. Especially in the early stage the color of celadon was very clear to be comparable to fine Chinese celadon. This work is presumed to have been made in the early stage, examining the color and the shape.
