This bangle bracelet is quintessentially Victorian. It is a hinged bangle made in the crossover style, with an ornamented top. The rectangular box ornament on top is flanked by a half-circle ornament on either side. It is gold filled, with moderately worn plating and dates from the late 1800s or very early 1900s. It is unmarked.

Here is a beautiful, graceful necklace, featuring 2 large grass-green peridots. The central stone is cushion cut, and the dangle is pear shaped. It is decorated with a total of 28 seed pearls of colors that vary a little, as is usual, set into leaves & vine-like gold ribbons. It is marked 14k on one leaf and on the spring ring. This elegant ring comes right out of the Art Deco era of Downton Abbey, The Great Gatsby, etc. The diamond is a very sparkly “transitional” cut diamond (a style that came between old European cut and modern round brilliant cut). Here is a fantastic necklace, in the style of Murrle, Bennett and other Arts & Crafts designers of high renown. It is unsigned, which is not unusual. It features a central silver panel with a big labradorite cab, 3/4” x 9/16”. The whole panel with dangles measures 13/16” x 1-7/8”. The wearable length is 24”, and there are 20” worth of labradorite beads, most having the distinctive and beautiful blue flash for which that stone is known...

This necklace is a graceful garland of bezel-set, oval and round moonstone cabochons in silver. Loops of chain surround moonstone drops, giving the fluid drape of the necklace. The chains connecting the stones are low-grade silver. This is a turn-of-the-century piece and is 15" long

This beauty is probably a mourning piece, with its black enamel flower. It has a tiny central old-cut diamond, and is made from 18k gold. This brilliant vintage squash blossom necklace is anecdotally from the 1950s but stylistically typical of the 1970s (the leaves surrounding the turquoise cabochons were popular at that period.) This lovely and unusual Georgian pin is most likely a mourning piece. Made from 18k yellow gold, with rose gold and platinum accents, the center panel has two hearts (one of gold, one of platinum) under beveled crystal. It is surrounded by gold and platinum flowers and leaves, and has a delicate cannetille framework. It is unmarked, but tests as 18k. It weighs 3.6g or .12oz, and measures 7/8” x 5/8”, so it is quite small. Probably English, it is circa 1835...

A delicately carved mother-of-pearl cameo is surrounded by rose-cut diamonds in this lovely pendant. It is 14 k yellow gold, and the diamonds are set in 14 k white gold. This graceful fairy was made in the Art Nouveau style. While contemporary, she still conveys the design ethos of a bygone era. Oddly, during the Nouveau era – roughly 1890–1915 - very few fairy jewels were made, except some very high-end ones by designers such as Lalique. Here is a sweet little pansy pendant! Pansies have been equated with thoughtfulness, free thinking, and deep contemplation. Shakespeare’s Ophelia said "There's pansies, that's for thoughts." This little pansy is made from (tested) 10k gold, with a modern-looking 14k bale, probably the result of a later change. Here is a sweet ring, which comes out of the era when Edwardian styles were sliding into Art Deco. (1920s – 1935-ish) It is marked “925” for sterling silver, and set with a ruby, birthstone for those born in July.
