This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Mintons in 1879. This was the height of the Aesthetic Period when Japanese inspired design was in demand. They were made for the retailer Jones, McDuffee & Stratton of Boston, Massachusetts. The creators of these plates and their designs were E. Reuter & R. Pillsbury at Mintons. Beautiful set of six sterling silver seafood forks in terrific Art Nouveau pattern by Joseph Seymour. Each piece is covered from the tip of the handle to the very beginnings of the tines with curves and stylized chrysanthemum-like blossoms in the Japonaise style. The tines are nicely curved and barbed. The backs are hallmarked by Seymour.

Origin: America, ca. 1885. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, no monograms. Size: 6-1/8” long. Weight: 87.5 grams.

Four perfume bottles, all in white opaline: the first decorated in gilt with winding morning glory, a very small enamelled bottle, a matted opaline and enamelled bottle and a bottle with a blue snake. The smallest bottle c 1840, the others late 19th century. Height "2 ¼ - 5 ¼ / 6 – 13 cm. No stoppers. Condition: some wear to the gilt and a nick to tip of the snake’s tail.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Minton around 1850. It is marked with Minton’s “Ermine” mark. The plate is inspired by the 18th century artist, Francois Bucher, and executed in the Sevres style. It measures 9 5/8 inches in diameter. The central scene shows a young man discovering a maiden asleep in the woods. The painting is expertly done with fine detail in heavy enamels. The celeste blue border contains 3 cartouches of tiny flowers...

A charming and rare three-footed Bow porcelain stand. The top is marbleized in shades of blue, puce and yellow, while the the open latticework sides are surrounded by dragonflies, moths, butterflies, and beetles done in a variety of colors. This wonderful example is in superb condition, with no problems or restoration whatsoever, and has bright, unflawed painting. The stand is 2 1/4" high, and has a 2 5/8" diameter at its maximum width.

This set of 13 porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1905. The date cipher indicates this year. Two artists signed the plates, E. Clark and C. Harris. The plates measure 8 7/8” in diameter. The fine white bone china is molded, rounding out the center and giving it depth. The rims are contoured so that the plates are divided into 6 segments. The border is cobalt blue enamel with 6 green enamel cartouches...

A fine hammered copper tray with handles from the workshops of Gustav Stickley in New York. Measures about 16 3/8", 19" across handles and weighs over three pounds. Tray was polished long ago and patina has aged, shows some wear and stains. Joiner's compass mark.

Victorian sterling silver pitcher. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York in 1894. Ovoid body with chased fruiting grapevines forming 2 irregular frames (vacant). Helmet mouth and raised and round foot with same applied to rims. High-looping branch-form handle. Tall and tactile with succulent bunches. Holds 5 1/2 pints. Fully marked including dated maker’s stamp, retailer’s stamp (JE Caldwell), no. 275, and volume. Very good condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The set is made of fine bone china. The cup features a puffy blown out shape and an art nouveau style handle. The type of decoration is known as “Spanish Lace”. The surfaces of both pieces are covered with fine, lacy gilding with hand painted flowers accenting the design...

A Large Victorian Silver Plate Fish Slice Set with Ivory Handles, by Atkin Brothers, Sheffield, circa 1880. The Ivory Handles are slightly mellowed and have age splits in each handle. The Fish Knife is a large 13" and the Serving Fork is 10.5", both with etching and piercing. Th knife is signed HA EA FA, for Atkin Brothers. Overall in excellent condition.

A lovely set of twelve sterling silver demitasse spoons by Whiting. This pattern, probably referred to as “39”, was most likely only made as demitasse spoons. Whiting produced a number of patterns in the 1880s and 90s that were limited in this way. The handles, beautifully decorated with a pierced pattern of lilies of the valley, blend into corkscrew twist stems that connect to bowls enhanced with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums...

An unusual SET OF FOUR Kiddush cups, each 3 1/2" high, and the tops 2" across. Each is marked .800 at base and also to the left of that is a tiny mark, difficult to photograph.
