Opaline glass bowl in the Brocade pattern, from the John Walsh Walsh glassworks. The opalizing effect was obtained by adding cobalt oxide to the glass, and a complicated procedure of heating and cooling. This beautiful example of an 18th century English cordial features a round funnel bowl engraved with a flowering rose on a leafed stem with thorns. The stem is a double series opaque twist (dsot) composed of a multi-ply spiral band around a pair of heavy spiral threads. The foot is of the uncommon domed helmet form with a rough snapped pontil. A rare and fine multi-spiral opaque twist (MSOT) antique English wine glass or small goblet. The large round funnel bowl sits above a stem with a very tight and beautiful enamel twist. The stem is further complemented with shoulder and basal knops, a very unusual combination.

A very good fruit bouquet paperweight by the New England Glass Company. Four pears alternate with cherries and foliage around a central pear. The lampwork fruit is particularly nice in this weight. A nice double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass with an ovoid bowl (slightly ogee) which has a fluted lower half. The stem has a pair of 9-ply spiral bands outside of a lace twist. Conical foot, snapped pontil.

Fine condition with no problems. The height is 5 1/8", and a bowl diameter of 2" with a foot diameter of 2 7/8".

Offered is this beautiful, iridescent glass vase, made by Loetz around 1902 - the vase is in their 'Medici' (Phanomen Genre 2/484) decor. Beautiful colors - the base-glass is in their 'Bronce' (bronze) coloration. The vase has four dimples just below the top-rim. It is 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) tall and 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) wide at the shoulders. A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.
