A pair of interesting candlesticks, 16th.-18th. century.
One is a very interesting, likely Flemish candlestick, in a white bronze or brass alloy, 16th.-17th. century, the other a North-European candlestick of the bell-type.
Size: 254 cm and 21 cm. respectively.
Condition: The bell stick likely a composite of two old parts, the other with soldered repair.

A very good late 19th - early 20th century Tibetan ewer, crafted of thin, hand-worked sheets of what is probably some type of brass/bronze amalgam that has acquired a rich chocolate patina over time, with deep repousse and chasing techniques forming the decorative bands along the shoulder, neck, and lid of vessel, a well-formed makara shaped spout and handle, all atop a splayed footed base. A fun pressed brass picture frame in the form of an early automobile. The frame is cleverly designed with vanishing point perspective to appear three dimensional. Apparently, it was originally a desk calendar and the original calendar inserts from 1907 have been used as a backing for the current photograph.

A unusual brass tea caddy from the Imperial Romanov era. These boxes are much more frequently seen as rectangular shapes rather than ovals. The hinged lid is decorated with an ornately detailed appliqué of the imperial Romanov double-headed eagle. The interior is tin-lined in the traditional Russian style. The fine bucket hammered in repousee with some wonderful high relief depictions of leafs and cluster of grapes in the baroque manor. Heavy brass letter opener with a fully repoussed handle. There is a face on both sides at the end of the handle. It is made to look like a barbed dagger or sword. It measures approximately 9 inches long and at its widest, it measures 1.25 inches. The overall weight is 152.5g. It most likely dates to the late Victorian era; it is unmarked and in very good condition.

An elegant late Victorian jewelry box in the Louis XVI style. The sides and lid are decorated with delicate raised birds and floral sprays against a stippled background. Dating to the early days of the 20th century, this brass spirit kettle was made by WMF of Germany, in the Jugendstil or Secessionist design.
WMF stands for Wertembergische Metallwarefabrik, a German tableware company founded in 1853. Always of high quality and still in existence, they were well known for their excellent and iconic designs, from Art Nouveau through the Secessionist, Jugendstil eras, including Art Deco.

A handsome Imperial Russian medium-size hammered brass oval tray with cast brass handles. A tray of this size would probably have been used to serve vodka, and could still be used as a cordial tray or even on a buffet table. One end is stamped with the maker’s name and the Imperial Romanov double eagle warrant. The handles are attached with copper rivets and are cast in a ropetwist design.

Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.
