Origin: probably French, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent; some staining on the back side. Size: outer--2.5"x3.25"; sight--1.5"x2.25".
This is beautiful hand painted Japanese 1000 flower Satsuma stand 5 in diameter 3 5/8 in height is in very good condition with no damage

Exceptional Sheraton Tea Chest in satinwood banded in rosewood and with ebony and boxwood stringing: having a rectangular hinged lid with silverplated pull opening to an interior with two fitted tea caddies with oval lids and similar inlaid decoration. English, circa 1790.

Attractive and unusual Victorian inlaid wood stereographgraphoscope. When the lid is raised and a stereograph is inserted in the holder, the viewer looks through the magnifying portal for a realistic three dimensional view.
Origin: probably English, ca. 1850. Condition: very good, although there is some chipping of the veneer along the edges. Size: 5.25" x 3.25" x 1".
Oval wooden plaque decorated with a group of Tarantella dancers, in the marquetry work typical of Sorrento, Italy. From our European Collection, a very fine Federal Giltwood Pier Mirror, early 19th century circa 1800-1820, featuring a looking glass surmounted by a good maritime scene, bordered on top by a pair of angels exquisitely rendered in gilded gesso suspended beneath an overhanging cornice, and flanked by gilded ribboned columns on the sides.
