A small famille verte dish from Chinese transitional period (early 17th century), it was probably made for the Japanese market. There is a "jade" character inside the double circles mark inside the foot rim. Condition: there are four tiny and shallow chips on the rim of the dish, and have been patched, please examine the photos for details. Good antique condition other than this. Diameter: 4-3/4".

Gong-shaped brush washer for use on scholar’s table. Covered overall in a glossy, clear glaze and decorated only with two concentric rings of cobalt blue encircling the mouth. The clear glaze reveals the fine white porcelain body. There are a few characteristic pinholes in the glaze on both the exterior and interior surfaces. This piece was made at the Longquan kiln famous for excellent celadon pieces, and had been stored at famous Japanese collector, It has beautiful olive green color and carved peony at the center of plate.
