The cylindrical body moulded with a simulated ribbon applied with a chilong-shaped handle and spout, the cover surmounted with a knop in the form of a small coiled chilong, covered except for the recessed base with a creamy white glaze. This Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) bronze temple guardian is 14 ½ inches tall. The four characters on chest read ¡°pass to the heavenly gate¡±. The weapon he carried is missing. It is in good condition.

Late Ming Early Qing Dynasty Chinese Blanc de Chine (Dehua) Porcelain Tripod Censer The elegant cylindrical body is encircled by four sets of raised double bow-string bands. The censer is supported on three carved floral-shaped feet, and is gently covered overall with a blanc-de-chine glaze with an exception of the interior and base unglazed. Size: 8.1 cm tall, 12.4 cm long, 11.5 cm wide. Condition: Excellent.

A lovely porcelain covered box of the Ming Dynasty, Jiajing Period ( 1567 - 1572 ) with a blue and white floral decoration with Lion. Porcelain body, very nice Cobalt blue, covered with an excellent glossy glaze. Diameter : 6,9 cm. H : 5,5 cm. Condition : Perfect original condition. There are 2 firing cracks which can be seen on the last enlargement, but there is no later damage to the piece.

It is the quite nice blue-green color of the glaze, suffused with discreet golden crackle, that makes this dish to an desirable collectible item. The front design is executed in the Transitional style, the back site of this dish is painted in the Ming Jiajing style, and the mark in the center is the Imperial Ming Xuande mark ! An beautifully detailed pottery figure of a MNother with her child, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1600 AD.

The lady is clad in a large thick robe, covering the most of her head, and she is holding a newborn chikd to hear breast. She is standing on a round plint, and the glaze is torquise and dark blue colours.

Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

Ming Dynasty, Ca. early 1500s

This dish is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a design of three men playing a game of “go.” It was recovered from a shipwreck site in the Southern Philippines off the coast of Mindanao. There is a slight pitting to the glaze overall from years of submersion. There is also a tiny rim chip and very small areas of rim fritting. The glazed base displays a hastily drawn seal mark expressing luck or good wishes...
