Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.

Only one of the most beautiful wood and lacquer Chinese baskets or round box ever to pass through my hands, this stunning beauty measures 9" high with the finial x 9" diameter and has strong decorative appeal, as well as being a genuine antique. The lid has a foo dog finial and is surrounded by Buddhist symbols, truly stunning details and exquisitely carved in low relief. The box dates circa 1890, really beautiful when you consider that the box is over 118 years old.

A matched pair of bronze champleve candlesticks of enamel inlay, wonderfully colorful and well patinated from age, these late 19th century candlesticks are in unrestored and perfect condition. These oriental candlesticks are highly decorative and would set off that perfect rustic atmosphere. They measure 9 inches each.

A fine and rare MING DYNASTY JARLET with craquelé light brown glaze and splashes of blue and white glaze here and there. The base is also glazed except for the resting ring on the base. Found in the MUSI RIVER, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KNGDOM and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam. This Chinese vase comes from Canton from the end of the 19th century or perhaps the first few years of the 20th century. The shape is termed onion neck for obvious reasons and derives from Delft forms made in Holland in the 17th century. The bright overglaze enamel colors are typical of export wares of the era and the subject matter of boys with balloons containing characters meaning "prosperity" and "good luck".

A rare Chinese Five Dynasties to late Tang Yue Celadon brush washer

Just simply stunning, this beautiful Chinese Asian celadon vase dates to the 14th century, it is in perfect shape save a small piece of broken shard that attached itself when some other vessel exploded in the kiln. Other than that, no cracks, hairlines, or other damage is found. Notice the comb lines and well potted sleek. Measures 4 inches high and about 2.5" at widest.

Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Charger/platter, Qianlong period, 1736-1795, 12 3/4" diameter, 2" high, underglaze blue landscape design inside the fan in the center within four(4) sets of floral sprays decorated border terminated with brown rim. One(1) hairline about 2" long glaze hairline at 3 o'clock position, it is tight and not open hairline. This charger will make nice set with #1349149.

Qing Red Dragon underglaze snuff bottle in good condition. There is some minor wear to the exposed base, but no apparent chips. Stopper & lid not included. Height 3 inches, diameter 1+ inch.

This late 19th century Chinese carved bamboo arm rest is 6 ¾ inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. It depicts an autumn scene; three frogs resting behind lotus leaf and dry lotus pod. The poem on the top translate as: “When crabs are growing to maturity and yellow mums are withering away, I am drinking wine beneath a blue autumn sky.” The workmanship of the picture and calligraphy are just elegant. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.

The characteristic marks of wiring-cutting were left at the bottom. It was a typical method by cutting the vessel from the wheel with a thread or a wire.

An antique jade stone with landscape pattern in it

Maginficent, antique basket from the Naxi/Nakhi ethnic group in Yunnan province. I purchased this in 2001 at local market in Lijiang (now a UNESCO heritage site)...

The purse is made of silk embroidery, which is called Seed Embroidery 打籽繡, originating in one of the four major regional styles of Chinese embroidery—Suzhou embroidery (Su Xiu). This Art Deco purse is ideal for photography sessions due to its collectible quality, but it is not suitable for everyday use given its delicate nature. Size: 7 inches (17cm) long, 5.25 inches (13cm) wide.

Antique Chinese carved agate snuff bottle with the image of a monkey siting upon a rock structure and holding an unusual object in his hands. Rare soy brown glazed stoneware vessel made in the shape of a grain silo. This basic style are well documented in Qingbai wares but this is the first I have seen in a brown glaze, also it has a fence going around the base which is quite unusual. It is in excellent condition with no repairs, cracks or fritting of the glaze and it is unusually large. H: 24cm/9.5in and D: 18cm/7in. It reminds me a lot of a Jizhou glaze but this seems heavier and more stable.

Chinese Blackwood and Natural gray Mottled Marble top round Stool/table, later part of 1800's, 17 1/2" high, 13 1/2" diameter on top, with carved low relief floral branches on the apron, with X cross stretchers underneath the marble top to strengthen the curved legs, also stretchers are connected to the legs in lower area, no nails were used, some separation between the joint in the wood, this stool is heavy and solid.

Fine and rare Longquan classic celadon bottle with an unusual shape- like a truncated meiping. The depth of the glaze achieves the ideal “jade like” quality that is much sought after by celadon collectors.
