A Thai polychrome enamel decorated stoneware offering dish. Similar porcelains were made in China for the Thai market. Primitively painted decoration in yellow, green white, red and blue enamels. It is not clear to us whether this is imported production or domestic production. Two Chinese characters appear within rectangular, impressed seal mark on the base. Diameter, about 9 1/8 inches. Height, about 3 5/8 inches.

A rare and beautifully made lime pot with a crackle glaze. The lime in these pots helped to soften the betel nut, making it easy to chew. Rare 4.9cm/1.9in Thai stoneware bowl from the Sankampaeng kiln circa 15th/16th CE with two fish in the center and scalloped cavetto, there is well done repaired chip on the inner rim noted last enlargement. This is a classic and definitive piece for the Sankampaeng kiln as the incised/impressed fish motif is only found on ceramics from this Thai kiln. There are some blue flambé highlights in the center, probably accidental but quite attractive. D: 21.5cm/8.2in and H: 5cm/2in.

A Vietnamese Anamese Blue and White Ewer. Height approximately 8 cm. From the handle to the tip spout is approximately 11 cm. The ewer has some peeled glaze, mostly on the handle. In good condition.
