A Thai polychrome enamel decorated stoneware offering dish. Similar porcelains were made in China for the Thai market. Primitively painted decoration in yellow, green white, red and blue enamels. It is not clear to us whether this is imported production or domestic production. Two Chinese characters appear within rectangular, impressed seal mark on the base. Diameter, about 9 1/8 inches. Height, about 3 5/8 inches.

Glazed stoneware lime pot. Relief decoration, glued to the slip representing a dragon, a phoenix and Buddhist emblems covered with thick blue, brown and cream enamels. This late 18th century South East Asian brown and olive pottery water dropper was made to look like a water buffalo. It is 2 ¼ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide. The dark olive green glaze covers the entire body but the bottom. It is in good condition except for a few small chips.

Rare 4.9cm/1.9in Thai stoneware bowl from the Sankampaeng kiln circa 15th/16th CE with two fish in the center and scalloped cavetto, there is well done repaired chip on the inner rim noted last enlargement. This is a classic and definitive piece for the Sankampaeng kiln as the incised/impressed fish motif is only found on ceramics from this Thai kiln. There are some blue flambé highlights in the center, probably accidental but quite attractive. D: 21.5cm/8.2in and H: 5cm/2in.

A Vietnamese Anamese Blue and White Ewer. Height approximately 8 cm.
From the handle to the tip spout is approximately 11 cm. The ewer has some peeled glaze, mostly on the handle. In good condition.
This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. This style of jar has been copied in later times in China and Southeast Asia. Size: H. 64.8cm W. 40cm.

Lovely 14th-15th Century Sawankhalok bottle with two ear handles at shoulder with refined incised horizontal line markings. Glaze has a nice olive green color with some omission during glazing. Created for slaked lime, a component for the social practice of chewing “Betelnut”. Its globular form resembles an areca nut with a stylized overhead handle covered in a green and cream glaze. Its rounded body has a circular hole intended to extract lime, which will be then deposited on a betel leaf.
