Large bowl with scenery of a "Long Elisa" and a servant in a garden scene. Inside the bowl four different flower sprays. Very nice composition. Condition: The bowl has four hairlines from the rim and one of the has a chip connected. The rim is strengthened during the 19th century with a gilt brass band. No further restorations. Chinese Antique Crane and Peaches Scroll, colorfully and vibrantly painted with dancing red-crested crane next to stream and ripe peach-laden tree, pigment beautifully applied, late 19th century, two seals and signed artist name Zhao Ahi Qian (1829-1884), picture size: 54.5"H 27.75"W, overall size: 86.5"H 36.25"W, some wear in center of painting.

This charming round Japanese antique serving tray is 11 inches in diameter. A delicate gold leaf design is painted around the outside tray rim and extends down onto the 3 shapely legs. The top edge of the rim is gold and separates the outside black lacquer from the traditional red/orange lacquer interior of the the tray. The red, black and gold lacquer paints are somewhat dulled with age and exposure. An old type written label on the bottom of the tray dates the tray to 1830...

This is a Northern Song dynsty qingpai hexafoil bowl from the well known hetian yao or hetian kiln. It has a very artistically free hand incised flower on the cavetto and center of the bowl. It has a beautiful sky blue colour.

Generally it is in very good condition. The glaze condition is good with some minor manufacturing faults and glaze crazing as shown in the pictures. There is only a small nick which has a restoration on it, as shown in picture 3...

The Manus Island is one of the Admiralty Islands. This traditional hair comb which the islanders would make from the mid ribs of coconut palm fronds. It is covered with a hard patinarium paste made from the crushed fruit of the Nilit tree, sometimes called Puttynut.

This is a Western Jin Dynasty yueh yao of dark olive green glazed "chicken head" or also commonly known as "cock head" ewer. Slightly of gobular body with two lug handles and a spout in the form of chicken's head with a neck. It has a looped slender handle and a averted mouth rim. The dark olive glazed stopped before the foot-rim exposing the red stoneware earth. The flatten base is slightly shrinking inward.

Generally in good condition. No repair, chip or restoration...
