A very fine specimen of the earliest metal daggers known, BMAC / Indus, Chalcolithic period, 4th.-3rd. millenium BC.

Interesting and collectable dagger! Flat, leafshaped blade and a very long, twisted tang.

Condition: Extremely fine, choice green patina and great metal.

A lovely wood carving of a pair from Bali. Meticulously carved and painted, the man with keris and the woman holding an offering, standing on a base. Condition: the base with some cracks and a small loss, the hilt of the keris glued, paint with few losses and wear. Dimension: c. 27 cm high.

A Persian small brass or bronze box and lid from the Qajar period, 19th century. Of square shape with indented corners and exquisitely engraved with flowers and birds. A small circular reserve indicates which side of box and lid respectively are meant to fit into each other. Width "2 1/2 / 6.5 cm, height "1 2/3/ 4.2 cm. Condition: fine.

Refined lacquer inro with three compartments expertly decorated in gold with numerous bamboo plants. This inro is enriched with dense nashiji lacquer dots and a detailed maki-è decoration that features an elegant pattern of bamboo plants in contrast to some stems and leaves of mother-of-pearl flakes inlaid on the surface...

A nicely engraved steatite stone scarab, Egypt New Kingdom, c. 1539–1075 BC.

Stylized with incised features such as the clypeus, prothorax and elytra marked by single lines. Decorated to the reverse with stylised geometric swirls and loop patterns. The amulet is pierced longitudinally for suspension.
