Covered vase in nuanced ocher jade, decorated in relief with a grinding wheel with Taotie masks. Very good quality of sculpture. The stone is probably fire-patinated to imitate the color of archaic jade as was usually the case in the Ming Dynasty. It is impossible for me to date such an object. It is old, probably from the 18th century but could be earlier. Good condition, except for a few dents on the lid that can be seen on an enlarged photo. Height: 12cm.

A set of rare and complete Burmese metal manuscript (KAMMAVACA) made from metal coated with gold and lacquer in nice condition. It was written in the Pali language using Burmese script. A small famille verte dish from Chinese transitional period (early 17th century), it was probably made for the Japanese market. There is a "jade" character inside the double circles mark inside the foot rim. Japanese 3 section kimono tansu, made with Kiri (paulownia) wood in its original, natural finish. The top unit has three medium size drawers underneath two sliding panels. The left upper compartment with single shelf and the right upper compartment with the two smallest drawers below a shelf space. The two lower sections are comprised of 3 drawers each.
